So sad to see this restaurant closed. The Chef was so sweet to teach me how to make their Kellari eggplant chips and now I make them all the time! Staff was always friendly. I hope they come back some day.

Apparently they are closed for renovations. They still allowed us to make a reservation and didn't inform us they are closed.

I reserved a table for four people for a business meeting for my boss and one of the attendees showed up first only to find that the restaurant was closed. I called the restaurant and got the voicemail that indicated they were open. No one ever returned my call. OpenTable let me make the reservation. My boss and his group ended up having to find a spot elsewhere. Terrible business.

We recently visited Kellari for the first time since COVID, and the experience was disappointing. On a Sunday evening, the restaurant was nearly empty with only four other patrons. Service was handled by just two staff members — the bartender and hostess — and we were unsure about the kitchen staff. Previously known for its fresh display, Kellari no longer offers this feature. We encountered several disappointments, including items like no mozzarella cheese, fresh oysters, and grilled octopus being unavailable. This experience has made us reconsider returning to this restaurant in the future.

The server was great and the food was good, but the rest of the experience was lacking. They were severely short-staffed so it took hours to eat our meal. Plus, they did not have several items on the menu. Overall, they should just close on Sunday afternoons if they are not going to be fully staffed and supplied.

Used Groupon. The food was great especially their potato and zucchini soup.

We went for brunch. We were the only table for about 30 minutes. We ordered and received drinks. I really enjoyed the champagne. However, they were short staffed. Our server was also the hostess and bartender. The food arrived in a timely manner. I really enjoyed the grilled calamari. The burger looked small on the bun. The French Toast was cold, but the server gladly replaced the dish. It took a little while to get the check, but it was an overall pleasant experience.

Parking: It was free street parking on Sunday.

We eat fresh fish, mussels, oysters and especially sardines on the coals. I will definitely come back.

Valentine's day nightmare and lunch.

Even the most recent lunch experience share the same challenges : this time despite being a few a table, it still took 30 minutes to get a drink and long wait for the food after that
Food is great, servers are mostly nice, but they just not have the formula down.

A restaurant in complete disarray: it took us half an hour to get a cocktail menu, 1 hour for a drink (that was also not the right one) and 90 minutes to get any food.
A waiter was broadcasting updates to the guests trying to minimize the debacle, a format well suited for a true taverna, not one that charges $100 for a fix meal. The owner complete absent.

Granted in the end they only made us pay for one meal, but that was too late. Suggestion : take care of the guest during the meal, offer a glass of wine, some snacks, etc. By the end of it, one is too upset to appreciate any gesture.

Food was fine when it came.

At lunch, we had lovely salads with grilled salmon, cooked perfectly. Staff were able to accommodate special needs like no salt, and severe shellfish allergy. Waiter was attentive to our slow pacing even though it got busy. Beverages as simple as a perfect cappuccino (decaf) and a zesty iced tea were great. A little pricey for a girlfriend lunch, but well worth the quality of food, service, and ambiance.
