Uncle Kenny's Smokehouse

in early 2019 this place was great! I went with my entire family and they really enjoyed this place. I went to this place and I love it! Great brisket and Smoked Chicken, now everything is different horrible food. Very bland, and service is bad. I do not recommend going to this place, very overpriced.

I was craving a new place to try for BBQ and located this establishment. This IS NOT authentic BBQ by any means. All of the meat is boiled and then sauce placed over it. The mac and cheese was Kraft's blue box. The corn bread was dry and flavorless. The greens came from a can. The red beans and rice were just poured out of the box and boiled for 2 minutes -- dry as hell. SMH. IT'S NOTHING THAT YOU'D EXPECT.I'd skip this place if I were you.The customer service was nice, though.

Staff is friendly and placed appeared clean.Ribs are excellent. However, the sides were nothing to write about. Baked beans had no flavor. Potato salad was boring. I'll go back for the ribs, but I'll prepare my own sides at home.

Just ate here and it really didn’t do it for me despite the fact that I was really craving BBQ. The ribs were good, came off the bone pretty well. The Mac and cheese was barely better than stove top and really lacked flavor. The yams were pretty good, but the cornbread was dry and didn’t really taste like much. Customer service and the good portions for what you pay is why Im giving it a 3/5, but I don’t need to try this spot again.

Stumbled upon this spot walking through the area and so glad we did! Brisket was amazing. Great bbq sauces and coleslaw too.

See update below: Delicious food and great experience. Very sweet employees who were very friendly and kind. BBQ was fire. Will definitely be going back!*UPDATE* after excitedly going back a second time:Second experience not so awesome.Really rude employee, the pricing for one order of 12 ribs was more than if you order 2 of the half racks… (same amount of ribs) so that was weird. The employee would not sub any sides or even offer the option to buy a piece of bread to make my bbq a sandwich…. She just said I had to get a totally different meal (+$12). No thanks.Overall it was extremely overpriced, unaccommodating, and we noticed a real difference from the first time we went. Disappointing ?

The food at Kenny's was good, but the outing was expensive. I had the brisket sandwich and a rib platter. With the included sides this was very filling for two people but no leftovers. Pros include very fast service, friendly staff and a nice patio to eat at. While the pork ribs were good and tasty, they were not spectacular. On par with any other restaurant or even home cooked. The brisket however, was wonderful and a much better value for the price. I would eat here again, but would stick with the more cost effective and higher quality sandwiches.

Great food, smoky as expected! Would travel the distance to get their smoked, pulled meat sandwiches! Their sides too!

The food wasn’t bad. The beef ribs are just too touch. Uncle Kenny needs to slow boiling his beef ribs. I tried it twice n both time I had to use a sharp knife to eat them. The sides and sauce was really good though.

Bad. Don’t eat here. I got some pork and beef ribs and brisket last night. The brisket and pork ribs were barely average. But the beef ribs were horrendous. Rib meat is supposed to be slow cooked and falling off the bone. These beef ribs were tough and grisly and basically inedible. I wonder if they mistakenly gave me some of the discarded meat meant for the dogs that had been lightly boiled. Never had beef ribs so bad, not even close.

Brisket is great, they also have some Korean dishes too that are tasty. Family that runs it is so friendly! They have a nice outdoor patio, but wear bug spray!

Staff was extremely nice, and the food was priced fairly for DC. Pulled pork was seasoned and cooked very well, and the sides were great! Sauce was super tasty and didn't overpower the meat or the seasoning of it. Definitely coming back!

This place is amazing! That’s all I can say. If your on Keto or low carb and need some GOOD meat, this is the spot. Management is great as well.

This was not it, the brisket was more pepper than meat. When I got my sandwich the bread was touching on all sides to the point where I could not even see any meat and when I opened up the bun to see the small amount of meat you get it was very disappointed. The Mac and cheese tasted like noodles, you could not taste any cheese and the "candied" yams had no sweetness, they were caned yams. The collards greens were not bad but for the price this place is a pass

Kenny’s has a new menu that is a huge departure from the pre-pandemic menu. Unfortunately the new menu removes some of the bests at Kenny’s from flavorful sides beans to the variety of sauces they used to have. Though the meat has remained great the rest of the experience has been greatly downgraded.I would caution any people coming back to this establishment to reset and lower their expectations.
