This is one of my favorite restaurants in DC. It feels like they’re making the food at home in the kitchen – just for you. I usually get the veggie platter. Delicious. Sometimes I add grilled chicken. You will not be disappointed by this fabulous place.

Keren is our go-to, in a neighborhood filled with restaurants. Great for low-key, weekend dinners out with the fam (go early), bringing a group to try something new, and for take away on weekdays when too tired to make dinner. The restaurant staff is kind, the food and its flavors, incredible. Hopeful that it will re-open!

I'm not one to hyperbolize, but their beef stew was perhaps the one of the most delicious meals I've ever had. It is a national tragedy that the restaurant is currently under repairs.
This place was ok. I got the beef tibs from here, and the quality of the dish was fairly different. The spiciness is good, but can be slightly overwhelming. Collard greens has some good flavor, and the beef was good, but didn’t have the stew-like flavor that i look for in beef ribs. Also, I did have some gastrointestinal problems afterwards. The food was ok, but I’ve had better Ethiopian and Eritrean food.Service did their best to seat everyone down as soon as possible, but jeez, they need a reservation system, because there were so many people waiting outside when it was raining, and it was unfair to get drenched on a Friday night while waiting for a table. They definitely need to expand. Also, they kept moving our table.Atmosphere is unclean. There were flies literally everywhere, and it was a bit gloomy.I probably wouldn’t come back here again.

Absolutely delicious food! My wife and I loved it. Plus, we loved the honey wine. This is the best Ethiopian food I’ve had in the DMV.
