Seated in windowed room and someone came to serve water. She said your waitress will be by. We waited 30 minutes and finally went looking since time was running outta place early bird orders by 6:30. Another group came in the room and got served before us! Food was all good but service sucked.
We came here for date night and had an incredible time! The portions are very large so you get great bang for your buck and they have a huge selection of oysters. We'd love to come back for happy hour and to try more of the menu :) Would definitely recommend!
Nice, varied menu from starter through entrees. Even non-seafood esters will find wide selection.
We have been to the City Ridge several times but last night was different. Two very large parties were in the more private dining area. The bar area & outside tables area also were open. There were only TWO servers handling drinks and food. Service was slow. The kitchen was backed up. Management should have more servers and more staff in kitchen when there are these many patrons. Particularly during and just after happy hour which is always crowded. Hopefully the restaurant was given a heads up when a large party will arrive. If they were, management should have been better prepared. The food was good but very late. The large parties were very loud. The server was very professional and did the best she could. We arrive for a 6:45 rez and left at 8:15.
I can't really rate the food because we never got any food or the drinks we ordered. After waiting for 45 minutes we only got water and so we decided to leave. It wasn't busy. I don't understand why we were ignored.
Terrible service, and it was not because they were busy. My order came completely wrong. No apologies. I then had to wait nearly 30 minutes to get my order, by which time everyone else at the table was finished with their dinner. Again, excuses but no simple apology.
We had our team dinner, which was a first-time visit for everyone. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and drinks. The Happy Hour menu is worth the value. All of the food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the brussel sprouts and oysters. Great food, drinks and ambience. I will definitely be back.
It was Super Hot — even with the fans. All the staff (who were Great) were sweating profusely!!
We love KSOB in Middleburg and were excited about the new DC location. The service was very very poor. Our server seemed like this was her first time waiting on a table, which i understand, but not if we are paying for a relatively expensive meal. The server was not aware of what quinoa was or Halibut, and had to ask us to read it off the description. She would leave plates piled and we had to ask for them to be removed. Dishes ordered were also never brought out. Very disappointing i hope they can get it together.
Always a good time and food is always hot and yummy. New drink on the menus Gimlet is amazing.

We checked in at 6:45. After 20 minutes of watching wait staff walk back and forth in front of our table without one person acknowledging us, I went back to the hostess stand and asked if someone could visit our table. The host came back and gave us water. We waited another 10 minutes. A waitress came to the table next to us (just two tables in our alcove) and brought the diners their check. She would not look at us or acknowledge us. We left after waiting 30 minutes of being ignored.
Food and value great but noise level way too high. Almost imPossible to have a conversation
We had a fabulous Mother's Day celebration. The food was delish , the drinks were invigorating and the service was wonderful . Natasha, our server was friendly, professional and a delight!
Servers we're very nice and we were seated immediately. Food was delicious but our order was wrong and the corrected order never came. I chalked it up to us having a large party (law school graduation) and it being happy hour.
My party and I had a wonderful experience. The waiter by the name of Cinnamon wasn't our waiter, but ended up assisting us. She was very energetic and knowledgeable as far as giving us information about having further parties. We work a Sibley and we do plan on having something there all because she gave us great information. Kudus to Cinnamon
