Sammy the server is fantastic! He was attentive without being invasive. It was a very relaxing experience.

The tea was lovely but there was a mouse in the dining area during our experience. I alerted the manager and our server once we saw it and they apologized. For that reason, I won't be returning.

Excellent service on the beginning then it quickly went down hill. Food was brought out in pieces. Had to ask for a steak knife, then had to ask for the sauces we ordered with the steak. I've had better cuts of meat at The Outback.

Sooo awful! Our waitress made us wait sooo long to order drinks & then made us wait so long to order food. & there were only 2 tables in there?? Once the food came out it was cold. I do not recommend.

After studying the extensive tea selection, the waiter returned twice to tell us that they didn't have 2 of the 4 teas we had selected. Food was very good. The waiter was responsive when the light was shining into one person's eyes. The woman in charge greeted us warmly. After she offered to let us smell one tea we never saw her again. I thought for the price that she might have lingered to tàk to us a bit beyond the upsale pitch.

We were excited to bring family to the restaurant for Christmas brunch after hearing about the incredible food from friends who have visited! We were so disappointed with the overall experience. The food was good but it was overshadowed by mediocre service and excessive price. Sadly we will continue to look for a great Christmas meal in the DC area.

The food is average, while prices are high. The dining room was very cold. The staff were friendly but slow to refill drinks. I ordered the Bolognese pasta dish which was lackluster and came with powdered cheese vs. fresh parmesan, (would have appreciated a piece of Italian bread with it too). I expected a higher quality of food and culinary skill for a historic venue. I won't be back.

We had a wonderful pre-theatre brunch for a Saturday matinee. The food and presentation was excellent. Really enjoyed the experience.

The food was incredible! Great waiter but there was an issue of waiting for an hour to get main course. Not sure why. But we had a great time and the food was so good.

Booked the « spill the tea » experience. While the service and wait staff were good, the food was terrible — every single thing (both sweets and savory pastries) served was completely stale and obviously not fresh. Terrible value and disappointing experience overall

I liked the food that they served and the staff made sure the food was ready as soon as possible, while still making it good.

The service was extremely slow for the restaurant only having 2 other tables of customers. It look us over 30 minutes to even order our drinks, and the server walked away while we were trying to place our orders- we even skipped ordering an appetizer because it was taking so long for someone to come over. The martini glass my drink was served in smelled overwhelmingly like wet dog. The food was ok but very underwhelming. Overall, it definitely was not good enough to go back or recommend whatsoever.

Hearing from friends for years how great the experience is at The Watergate/Kingbird we decided to splurge on the buffet and it was a total miss. The food was ok but had sat out all day. Offerings did not match menu online. Prime rib was good but not hot. Service was friendly but not attentive (had to stack plates from appetizers to set down dinner plates). For $700+ I was very disappointed in the holiday meal for our group of 5.

Our Christmas meal was absolutely fantastic. Everything from the shellfish to the prime rib was very fresh. Most of all Miguel was the best server with information and humor! We just loved him! Seeing the iconic Watergate was extremely fun!
