It was a great dinner at Kingbird, and my parents celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary. Black Ink Zuccia pasta was delicious and had a great flavoring. The best restaurant in Washington, DC.

Very aesthetically pleasing environment and very good food. I ordered the squid ink pasta and it was excellent. Our server was very attentive and was great overall. It definitely is expensive, but worth it

My family took me to the Kennedy Center to see The Nutcracker and we enjoyed a lovely pre show lunch. The staff were perfectly attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting and the food was delicious!! Looking forward to dining there again.

Kingbird is located in the Watergate Hotel and close to The Kennedy Center which is convenient for shows. The atmosphere is very modern and the service was perfect. The food is wonderful too!!

We dined here last night before seeing a show at the Kennedy Center. All of the staff were amazing. Our waiter was very personable and made us feel like we were old friends. He recommended excellent cocktails. My husband said that his drink was the best version of an old fashioned he’d ever had. For my meal, I had the squid ink zucca. It was full of seafood and was outstanding. The staff also asked the time of our show to ensure we would make it on time. We will definitely be back! They also said next time to park at the Watergate and walk to Kennedy Center because it’s cheaper and you avoid the post-show traffic.

Pre theater birthday dinner. The place is right next to the Kennedy Center. So it makes it very convenient. I guess they know that because they charge you quite a bit. The food was good though small portions. The crab cake was the best my wife had ever eaten. The drinks were distinct. Service is really good. Waiters are very attentive. I think I will go back to this place only if I’m at the Kennedy Center for an event.

Service is great but the food is overpriced and not tasty at all, especially the brunch. The eggs Benedict were very salty, the kids grilled chicken was $26, the lobster roll was overpowered by the mayo and it seemed to be made with frozen lobster pieces. The restaurant was also cold, no view of the Potomac so can't say you are paying for the atmosphere either. Probably my biggest disappointment as a restaurant in DC in the past 10 years

Came here for afternoon tea the other week. Service was lovely and the abiance was sophisticated. They even put faux rose petals on our table before we arrived! My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our tea, and the pastries were pretty good too. The theme was supposed to be 1960s, although there was nothing particularly themed about it. Overall, I reccomend this tea, especially given its pricepoint.
