I was there recently for bingo and in the middle of the games, a guy (who had clearly been over served) started with a two guys who were there with a female friend. The drunken guy was saying he was being threatened and then made rude comments to the female. One of the guys was ready to confront the guy if he kept saying stuff. The bartender was right there and did nothing. There was a doorman but he was nowhere to be found. This place IS NOT SAFE. I will never go back and will tell my friends to avoid it. I heard later the guy who was drunk was a regular and that's why he was allowed to mouth off and not asked to leave.

It’s a good neighborhood bar, usually not too crowded, with a large selection of beers and an elite “bar and shot combo.” The free popcorn is a nice touch — but bring back Old Bay!

The underground gem of Logan Circle. Relaxing atmosphere, movie-style popcorn to go with classic movies on TV. Bartenders fit this place perfectly. Slogan on the coozies say “Worst Place to Watch Sports” which only adds to its allure, but it’s the best place to hangout in a chill environment. A must stop anytime I’m in DC!

My favorite bar in DC. I love the staff (Hi Tracy!) I love the vibes (free, fresh popcorn). The music hits and it always prove to be fun whether it’s packed or there is no one there. Plus on the weekend they do this dice game that is so fun. Me and my girls love it!

Casual, easy, and fun. What more could you ask for in a bar?

Weirdly and needlessly aggressive/ abrasive bouncer on 3/12/24 (multiple people in my party said similar things), heat blasting while it's 70° outside and while the popcorn idea is fun, the smell is overwhelming after a few hours. Good sound system for trivia.
amazing place super duper cool feeling drinks and only one issue sometimes the restroom doesn’t have a plunger.

I gave this one star overall for the service primarily, but also for the atmosphere which was in enjoyable due to the service. The doorman was lovely, but the bartender ignored my friends and I and it was practically empty barring maybe 4-5 other guests who’d already been served. He was curt and only minimally engaged while helping us, when he helped , and seemed to dislike us for some reason. He didn’t seem this way with the other guests. I don’t know if it was bc we were a group of Black queer women or what, but the service was pointedly poor.

Fun little dive bar great prices and seemingly friendly people in attendance.

The bartender is racist and will go out of his way to serve white people first. It wasn't busy at all the he went out of his way to serve other people who came up right next to us and finally begrudgingly served us. Seemed put out when we asked for popcorn. Typical hipster joint. Avoid.

Wholesome, welcoming, and super chill. Sam the bartender is a legend. Really felt taken care of and there’s a great selection of craft beers and cocktails to go along with it. Great crowd
