Casual, easy, and fun. What more could you ask for in a bar?

Weirdly and needlessly aggressive/ abrasive bouncer on 3/12/24 (multiple people in my party said similar things), heat blasting while it's 70° outside and while the popcorn idea is fun, the smell is overwhelming after a few hours. Good sound system for trivia.

I gave this one star overall for the service primarily, but also for the atmosphere which was in enjoyable due to the service. The doorman was lovely, but the bartender ignored my friends and I and it was practically empty barring maybe 4-5 other guests who’d already been served. He was curt and only minimally engaged while helping us, when he helped , and seemed to dislike us for some reason. He didn’t seem this way with the other guests. I don’t know if it was bc we were a group of Black queer women or what, but the service was pointedly poor.

everything about the bar was really good except for the bartender. She was very rude to my friend and I from the start and it got worse when I asked if I was able to get another thing of popcorn. she didn't have an issue getting anyone else anything it seemed to be just us. she was very rude to us and we still don't know why. she was the bartender with fuchsia dyed hair.

Kingfisher really hit the spot. After a long day of meetings at work, a few colleagues, and I went in to unwind. This is a very cool and relaxed spot. The drinks were wonderful and everyone was extremely nice. It was pretty busy, but not packed. It definitely has that neighborhood bar feeling. Their popcorn is a great touch.

The bartender is racist and will go out of his way to serve white people first. It wasn't busy at all the he went out of his way to serve other people who came up right next to us and finally begrudgingly served us. Seemed put out when we asked for popcorn. Typical hipster joint. Avoid.

Wholesome, welcoming, and super chill. Sam the bartender is a legend. Really felt taken care of and there’s a great selection of craft beers and cocktails to go along with it. Great crowd

Friendly neighborhood bar with long beer list, long *good* beer list. And another great plus? Fresh popcorn !!
Fun bar to go with friends! The music is great and I love the popcorn when you're having a late night and want a little snack.

Neat little bar. Not sure if they have food but the local beer selection was great.

The best part about this place is that it is not the other places that are near it. Kingfisher is local quality and most of all it is chill. It is the last vestige of quality booze without exorbitant prices or douche bag clientele. It’s real hard to find something like that on 14th St., in 2023. Jackie is amazing!!

This place is extremely racist, I was kicked out for "waving at a bartender". I guess this is how they treat paying customers
