love this place & the staff is so sweet

Incredible sushi for the value about 80% of the time. When the older loud white guy is working, my sushi has almost no fish on it, and ground fish is subbed for fresh slabs. i wish that man no longer worked there, unsure if its a coincidence or not but if he makes it it's never worth the price.

They are wonderful food and staffs there, Henry is amazing! Come and talk to him sometimes. I will definitely recommend it.

I have to say it changed a lot. I’m a daily consumer of the restaurant. Salmon is fresh enough, but the quality of Tuna has dropped a lot. But the taste maintains at the medium high level of most Sushi Restaurants. For a student in GWU, it’s a good choice for meal.

Decent food but rude and sloppy staff. I have worked in the food industry and understand how difficult the work is. No reason to be unprofessional.I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

this place is a scam. they put sushi rolls on the menu, but don’t actually give you what you pay for. i ordered the clinton twice and both times they refused to add shrimp, even though it comes with it, and they even went on to say that their menu is not correct. beware, they also put the dirty recipt on your sushi roll. the guy at the cash register also lied to me saying that it would come with shrimp and the roll did not.

Food was bad- server was nice though

The food is reasonably priced and yummy but in the two times I have been so far there have been glaring contamination and food safety issues. Each employee should be trained in proper procedures, especially on a campus where disease can be spread so easily. For example, a woman in gloves should not take a receipt and pager from a customer then immediately handle raw fish in the same gloves. These are the basics.

I came here to grab lunch and dinner today, and ordered a poké bowl for lunch and a tuna sushi roll for dinner. It's definitely the most affordable poké option in the area.Pros: cheap but still great quality (hard to find when it comes to fish); large portions of the poké bowl; everything is made to order fresh right in front of you; 1$ Miso soup add on; fast, friendly serviceCons: doesn't have as much variety as other options nearbyPro tip: the poké bowl is the most cost efficient, but choose the "create your own" option. You can get unlimited vegetables and toppings!

Beware that the sign displaying what is in each roll is frequently incorrect and omits ingredients.
