This is my go-to Japanese box lunch place during work hours. The lunch specials are pretty decent sizes for the Capitol Hill area prices. Wish I could give it more stars but the main guy that does all the cooking is doing double duty now as the cashier. As a result the wait is a lot longer than before despite it not being totally inundated with customers like before and the food quality has dipped a bit. Wonderful sushi! Extremely fresh and tasty! The chef makes it right on the spot and the service is really fast and very friendly! I would recommend for anyone looking for good yummy sushi in Washington DC!!

Love this place! The dumplings are bomb, great selection without compromise to the quality. The manager was friendly, food didn't take long and the atmosphere is nice. We live in California but we'll be back here the next tome we're in DC.
