The dark chocolate is rich, decadent, thick, indulgent. I paired it with their butter croissant - it’s buttery, not the classic French-kind, it’s thick- but this texture goes really well with the dark chocolate. I just kept shaking my head after each sip and bite in disbelief- amazing. Will be back for sure. And the Christmas lights on the ceiling make this place that much more magical. Thank you to the amazing baristas- they’re super nice and make this place even more magical...
Always a fan of the LA Burdick while we were in Boston! This Georgetown location also matched up with the good old Boston shop. The chocolates and baked goodies are good, but the best stuff is the hot chocolate! They have the regular hot chocolate as well as the awesome white chocolate! They also have a great SPICY dark chocolate!!

The most amazing hot chocolate ever! I won’t order hot chocolate anywhere else because it just disappoints after you have tried this. I have been many times to their shops in Boston, New York, and Chicago. So glad that they are here in DC now too.
