Casamigo Bar & Grill

Dishonest waitress/bartender (Julissa). I came in on Tuesday to take advantage of happy hour specials ($4 beers). When the check arrived, she charged me the full price for beers claiming I ordered my drink past 9:00pm which wasn’t true. I argued with her but she was stubborn. I could have asked a manager to retrieve a video surveillance to prove my point, but wasn’t going to fret about a few bucks. It’s a matter of a principle. If they don’t want loyal customers living in the neighborhood then I’m not going back. The waitress (Julissa) is a liar. And, yes, look at the timestamp in the attached receipt - order was placed before 9:00pm.

Taco Tuesday here is great - the tacos are small and simple but so delicious, my toddler and baby devour them (the chunks of meat are perfectly sized for them too!) Though I’d get at least 4-5 tacos per adult. Guac is also excellent. A surprisingly affordable dinner in Mount Pleasant!

We wanted to get some tacos and a margarita before ice cream and stumbled upon casamigo which is unassuming and authentic. The jalapeño margarita and house margaritas were really good, not too sweet. They are $5 Monday through Friday for extended happy hour from 4-9pm!! Taco Tuesday tacos are $2, but we got a standard order of Birria which were EXCELLENT, chorizo also fantastic and the supreme shredded chicken which I’m always concerned the chicken will be dry, but was tender and flavorful. Probably some of the best tacos in DC! A great experience and highly recommend!

Good, quick service, but more importantly they have some of the best tacos in the area. I went on Taco Tuesday and got the birria/camarones tacos for an amazing price. The vibe was immaculate there as well. I had a marg and 4 tacos for $14.50 before tip.

I don’t write many reviews but I can’t resist writing this one. We visited Casamigo with our toddler for their taco Tuesday. Tacos were delicious, they tasted authentic, fresh and well seasoned. The atmosphere was very happy inside, the owner checked on us multiple times to make sure everything is ok. It has a bit of a hall in the wall vibe, but it’s so worth it! Highly recommend.

I ordered a chicken with slices and the chicken was totally red inside, it was not cooked well!! Terrible service

Casamigo Bar & Grill is such a great spot to hang out and enjoy some good vibes. The atmosphere is lively, the staff is super friendly, and the food is amazing. Their sizzling fajitas and cocktails are seriously the perfect combo. Whether you're with friends or on a date, this place always feels like a party. Trust me, you'll love it!

3 out of 5 because 1 means bad or terrible which wasn't the case.

2 is what I wanted to give because the tacos were just okay. The barria ones were the only ones I finished the other ones were just okay light meat bare minimum with tortillas.

My usual taco spot does taco Tuesday and they don't skimp out so I'm holding this place to the same standard.

Also I've tried over 30+ tres leches from east to west and this was by far the worst one I've had in my life. The $5 Jarritos caught me off guard as well.

Customer service was good and the food came out quick which is why I opted for 3 stars instead of 2 but I wouldn't repeat.

best place for when you don’t want to cook dinner but don’t want to sacrifice the bank or quality. the yummiest tacos on Tuesday, great vibe to watch a soccer match, and even better service from all of the lovely ladies here. My go-to for years

The food is very delicious, the truth is, it is recommended, unfortunately the service, the waitress, I don't know if she is new or not, but unfortunately the service is bad, we ordered two drinks, a tamarind and a horchata, the horchata had bad sap, very bad, you couldn't even see it and the waitress couldn't even see it. Ask if it is good or bad, please, it is advisable to improve this service.

Amazing lunch special! We had the $2 tacos, chicken and carne asada. Also had a good $5 marg! The tortillas were freshly homemade, the meat was great, and the salsa was delicious. The service was amazing, super friendly and efficient. We live nearby and came in because of the lunch special, and we will definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to others!
