Pizza is great. Wait times are insane. Over an hour for a pie, every time.

I really want to enjoy the food here but half of it fell short. The highlight of the meal was the La Parmigiana 2.0 pinsa, with marinated eggplant and plenty of cheese. So decadent. The lowlight was the carbonara, which didn’t have anything resembling a sauce and was dry like a breadstick.

La Casina is a great restaurant in Eastern Market. This is the best pizza (or better described as Pinsa) I have ever had! The dough has a wonderful and distinct taste with fresh ingredients.

It was my first time at La Casina, my roommate recommended it to me as her favorite pizza place and it did not disappoint! The food was so fresh and tasty, service was amazing and atmosphere was on point. Tiramisu was 11/10! As we were leaving the Chef gave us some baguettes to take home as he learned it was our first time there. What a great experience! :)

As Italian, I can confirm this is a really Italian pizzeria, with fresh food coming directly from Italy!

Great dinner!

Don't Go! Oh The humanity! I still have flashbacks from the watery, flavorless toppings that don't get heated through,

and the pompous owner/chef (the one obsessed with authenticity in the comments, and if you think the food is bad, you are dumb and don't know authenticity).

If you do go, i'd go for uncooked toppings, (like arugula/prosciutto) because the bread is fine...and bring your own red pepper! But just Don't!

and don't call it pizza it's pinsa! 😆

La Casina DC is a solid spot for Italian fare with a relaxed, casual vibe. The pasta dishes are flavorful and well-prepared, and the sauces taste fresh and balanced. The staff was friendly and attentive, though service was a bit slow at times. Overall, it’s a dependable place for a tasty, no-fuss meal, and I’d come back to try more of the menu.

Had an amazing night. Their pinse (Roman style pizza) are by far the best I've had outside of Italy. The staff and owners, Angela e Fabrizio are very welcoming! We ordered Amatrice, Gricia and Suppli - to die for.

Such a special gem of a restaurant! The best pizza in DC by far and also an incredible space to explore the authentic flavors of Rome! Everything is made fresh with love and the owners are such a joy to talk to. Impossible to beat the warm and inviting atmosphere La Casina provides!!
