We went to La Collina for a nice meal. The ambience was appealing and the food was very tasty. However, what stood out most was the outstanding service that was provided to us by Ms. Jasmine! She was so attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant and if you're lucky.... You'll get Jasmine as your server!!!!

Great outdoor seating on such a lovely evening! We didn't have to wait for outdoor sitting on a Saturday night about 7pm, however for inside sitting, it was a 1.5 hour wait. We had nice service and tried the garlic bread, cacio de Pepe and shrimp diavolo. All were tasty. They add a 22% service charge to the bill and are very transparent about it so you don't double tip unless you want to.

My friend and I made a last minute reservation at La Collina in Eastern Market, and I'm so glad we did! When we arrived, they needed a few extra minutes to get a table cleared for us. For the "inconvenience," they gave us free Prosecco - a great sign of the friendly, attentive service to come. We shared the burrata salad, which was good - filled with bitter radicchio that was balanced out by the honey in the dressing. For the main course, I had the bolognese with gluten-free penne (thank you for having gluten-free pasta!). The sauce was rich and slightly spicy, and the topping of ricotta was the cherry on top. The restaurant was packed and fairly loud, but I didn't find it distracting. They do add a 22% service charge to every check, and it was certainly a topic of conversation at the tables around us. But, it didn't really bother me, especially given how good the service was. I'll be happy to return and try other dishes here!

Phenomenal food, ambiance, and service! I came here with a group for a private event in a side room and we enjoyed a feast of dishes. Burrata, salad, arancini, and garlic bread for starters... all were delicious and a bit different than in other restaurants. For main dishes, we had salmon, radiatore pasta with shrimp, chicken with broccolini, a delightful gnocchi in a quattro formaggio sauce, and a side dish of cauliflower. The shrimp and gnocchi were crowd favorites. For dessert we had the lemon dessert (olive oil cake with basil cream and lemon curd) - hands down one of the best desserts I've ever had! Will definitely be back. The atmosphere, service, and drinks were all delightful!

The burratta and focaccia were delicious starters. The vodka pasta dish was very flavorful, best I have had in DC, but the portion sizes are relatively small for the price. The service and ambiance was lovely !!

Phenomenal food, service and in a very chic ambience. The experience here is always elegant and elevated, but also kid friendly and not pretentious. Perfect Capitol Hill vibe. Do not miss the absolutely delicious lamb ragu (bolognese).

a great restaurant week find!!! my partner and I went here for DC restaurant week and this place really exceeded expectations. I usually shy away from Italian food, but La Collina offered a unique experience with food that blew me away. The pasta ala vodka was tasty and definitely incomparable to anything I could make at home. The space is intimate, with 3 separate rooms, each with only a handful of tables in them. I found it nice + cozy. I can't wait to go back and experience the full menu :)

Went for restaurant week and it was so good and so fun!!!! My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary, which I put on the reservation form so when we arrived the host wished us a happy anniversary AND when they sat us, gave us complimentary champagne which was so nice and thoughtful, and delicious! While the restaurant week is small, it's delicious and we loved it! We got the Arancini and the Kohhrabi Riccota. The former was SO GOOD! it was creamy and crunchy and cheesy and incredible. The latter we liked less, but the mix of spice and cheese and the bite sized potatoes were amazing nonetheless in my opinion, although my partner could have likely done without. My partner got the Radiatori alla Vodka and I got the Chicken Piccata. The Radiatori was mouthwateringly delicious. The sauce was perfect and radiatori is both of our new favorite pasta shape. The chicken was some of the best chicken ever, namely because of the incredible sauce drizzled over it and plated underneath it, making it moist and smooth. The capers were an incredible touch adding salt and flavor to the dish. With great surprise, the dessert was arguably the star of the show. The chocolate olive oil cake was good, but I think I was a little too full at this point. BUT THE LEMON DESSERT! ugh the best thing I may have ever had ever ever ever!!! The moist cake with the lemon curd and the peanut and the basil cream on top!! every bite was made for perfection! The space was great and simple. Everyone from families with young kids to adults at a work-dinner seemed to love the vibe! The staff was so sweet and knowledgeable and personable! They also all seemed very cool lol. Highly recommend La Collina, regardless of whether you find yourself in Eastern Market regularly or are looking for an excuse to travel into the city for a nice, fun meal!

Quite accommodating.Wheelchair accessibility: Large doors, good washrooms, and tables are setup in such a manner that wheelchairs can easily pull up.

We went to dinner here last night. We weren't impressed. The restaurant is decorated in what I'd call a minimalist style. Very little fabric, straight-lined modern tables & chairs. It comes across as on the cold side, especially for an Italian restaurant. There are no signs of it being Italian & could just as easily be Bulgarian or Swedish or whatever. We started by sharing an order of burrata. It was served with sliced figs & was good. We then each had a pasta entree. One spaghetti & meatballs, the other lamb bolognese. The meatballs were tasty. The lamb was disappointing, not as flavorful as we've had at other places such as Lavagna. Our total bill was $120, including tax & the 22% that the restaurant added for its staff. We certainly don't mind paying that amount for dinner, but this one wasn't memorable.

We wanted to love this neighborhood spot but sadly were underwhelmed. Pasta was really undercooked -- sauce was delicious but needed a knife to cut the pasta. Meatballs were raw in the middle. Asked for ice for my water three times -- no ice to be had. Only a few families in the whole place but it was very loud. Could hear poor kids being scolded from the farthest corners of the room. Wouldn't want to be there if it was crowded. Garlic bread & arugula salad were delish but not enough to make up for the rest. So sorry.

We had a work event here which was very nice. The food was great and the staff were very friendly. My fav was the steak which was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. I like the atmosphere. It is good for groups.
