If you are looking for a chill place to work, eat, relax or meet with friends…this is the place.
Walking in you get hit with best smell ever….ground coffee. The place is simple and so clean.
Had to go with a classic and got an Iced Latte and let me tell ya….STRONG! So good. And being a coffee shop snob and drinker….this is a must.
Service was friendly and very attentive. Took time with each customer and made you feel relaxed and welcomed.

I recently tried the canned La Colombe drinks and was an instant fan, so it was a no brainer I had to stop into a brick and mortar (which I had no idea was a thing!) My husband and I stopped in every morning while we were in DC. I typically like to try new drinks, but the Rachel was sooooo good I ordered it every time. However, my husband got a hot vanilla latte one of the mornings and he said it reminded him of some of our favorite cappuccinos in Italy. He got a cinnamon bun every morning—definitely messy, but super delicious without coating your palette in sweetness. I tried a different croissant each day, which were all delicious cold, but I’m sure would be on another level of delicious if they were warmed up.

Coffee was basic. Pastries looked good but flies were all over them and barista didn't seem to care but otherwise she was nice and atmosphere was awesome

Gave this place a try based on the reviews. The vibe is warm and calm when you walk in, but then the poor customer service set the tone. The lady working this morning was not friendly at all, nor was she helpful. There is not a large variety of pastries. I thanked the man that made my latte (delicious) and he looked at me like I was crazy.

No WiFi. Phenomenal service, and perfect espresso: smooth (not bitter), and strong— important for a busy student. Chill music, not too loud. Small latte comes with 2 shots of espresso. My gorgeous vanilla latte is pictured. I needed to add additional sweetener to mine because I’m a fiend for sweet drinks, but even without sweetener it was smooth and tasty.
I do encourage management to provide WiFi for guests. This would be a perfect spot to get work done and study, if there was internet. Me personally, my hotel WiFi reaches here, but everyone should have access to this lovely study spot.
The staff are fast and extremely friendly! And expert baristas, of course.

When you’re ordering a $7 latte it should fill the cup and not be full foam. This location particularly can’t get this right. I’m paying $7 for air? Why can’t your employees prepare draft lattes correctly?
