Fransceco was great- he informed us he was new however service was excellent. Beautiful ambience and thr food was excellent. It was on our list of places to try so we are happy we could celebrate our anniversary there. A piece of advice ask to sit near the windows to see what's happening outside. We were seated next to people and don't feel so much privacy.

Waiter was kind but not great - had to ask for my mocktail 3 times and it came 30 minutes into our meal, as one example. Nice guy but service not commensurate w/ the incredible energy, vibe and prices. That said, we'd still go back and want to take friends next time b/c its a super fun and unique spot, especially for DC.

Restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and just as elegant as the NYC locations, but the food was very disappointing. Duck was dry there was very little butternut squash. Drinks were fine, but nothing memorable. One of the hosts told us to wait at the bar until our table was ready, and never offered to take our coats.

Overall, good first time experience here. They seem to be a very smooth running operation with speed of service. We got our apps within a few minutes after ordering. Noticed the table next to us also got their main pretty quickly after ordering as well. Reminded me of Le Diplomate, which is one of our favorites. The escargot and coq au vin was very good and I'd recommend those. My wife got the duck dish with lentils and sweet potato and she wasn't too impressed with that one though noted she regularly eats lentils almost daily so that may have impacted her impression. Definitely very pricey but nice vibe.

The first thing that stood out in the restaurant was the decor. Very elegant. The service was also notable and attentive. The steaks were amazing and the desserts were unique. Highly recommend to celebrate a special occasion.

The only problem I have is that this experience has ruined every other experience I will ever have at another restaurant.

I always enjoy this restaurant. A lot of variety on the menu to meet everyone's preferences. This time two of us did the prix fixe lunch menu. Great options. We both opted for the French onion soup, which had a lovely thick cover of melted cheese, and wonderful flavor. We then did the burgers — very thick with a brioche bun, and some potato chips on it along with the normal fixings. I was skeptical, but it was only a few and they actually did add a little something. The French fries are simply to die for — i can never ask for a side salad instead! The server was very attentive and friendly - perfect for a business lunch. It's a reliably enjoyable.
