Rude service. Waiter stands by you while you eat. Music, not that great. Food is quite mediocre -- lots of other places in DMV to get good Peruvian eats.

I love the chicken but when they where putting my order together. They got the yucca from another order which was waiting for some time. I brought it up to management who did not care or offer to give just cooked yucca.

Landed in this place because someone from my office had heard that her Peruvian friends liked this place. I thought if they like it, it must be great... far from true.. I ordered a ceviche - Peruvian food staple dish - and I couldn't even eat it.. it looked like it will make me sick. Not sure how this place has a permit to operate. Same story with my chicha morada drink, again staple Peruvian drink.. way to sweet and artificial tasting.. Some folks did look happy eating the chicken though... I felt sick just looking at the plate

This place tastes and feels like it's on its last legs. Most of the reviews raving about it are from 10 years ago. Today, they serve really average, nondescript food. Wouldn't mind if it were served on the plane but expect more in DC. Very sad depressing decor. Rows of food staying warm in silver containers with lids floating in hot water baths. Quiet inside which I liked, then the tv was turned on very loudly while I was in their kind of scary darkly lit bathroom. I was the only one inside the restaurant. I asked if they could turn it down or off and woman behind counter refused, saying they weren't a church. Just don't bother with this place. They can't even be bothered themselves.

It used to be the best place in town for Peruvian Pollo...it has gone down

The food is delicious, the customer service was excellent and while I was there I saw them give a homeless man a bowl of soup on a very cold day.

Best pollo saltado i wont eat this dish any where else in the whole world and i mean the whole world.
Traditional peruvian food. It was good. As soon as you walk in we approached the counter to order and sat down. Got our food and enjoyed it.

A little expensive. The chicken was good, but the meat platters are overpriced & small portions. The restaurant is dated, but it was perfectly fine for my family (including 2 small kids) The fried plantains are highly recommended.

Their food is not what I expected. I ordered Lomo Saltado. However the people were very friendly.
