I have always had reliably good experiences here - I get a sandwich or some cheese every time, can't speak to anything else. The food is tasty and I find the sandwich price worth it for a grilled cheese when I get fantastic tomato soup with it. Will be back regularly.
Service is poor and everything is grossly overpriced.
This place is outrageously overpriced. 1 glass of brut, on the menu for $13, came out to $23 after fees and tip! A tiny flute of brut! Highway robbery. Never again.
Great service and great grilled cheese and cheeses!
Warm welcome, impeccable service, and a lovely owner.
Exceptional products: expertly curated cheeses, charcuterie, and wines.
A must-visit spot for lovers of authentic gastronomy.
While visiting Washington from France, we discovered this exceptional spot that exceeded all our expectations! The cheese and charcuterie boards are of rare quality, perfectly selected, and the French wine list is outstanding. A true favorite, worthy of the finest Parisian tables. A must-visit for all food lovers!
Bartender Nolan mixed up some art from the top shelf. Ask for his rum punch. Really good with a strong pour.

Cheeses were great. Perfect appetizer before dinner.
Horrible all the way around staff is beyond trivial and bitter. Food and wine were fine but the bad service makes for a crappy experience.

Lovely spot in Union Market. A little taste of a French bistro. The baguette sandwich was delicious. The blue cheese was divine. The side options included salad, chips or tomato soup. Do yourself a favor and try the tomato soup. You will thank me later!
Stopped in for a light lunch and for my first time here it was a great experience. Sophia and Jess were both incredibly nice. Not to mention the grilled cheese was great and the drink was just right. I will be back to try their other sandwiches!
This place is great. The grilled cheeses are stupid expensive but sometimes, it's worth the money, especially the tuscan grilled cheese with the tomato soup. And a nice red wine, of which they have a great selection and a kind of hefty pour.
Their cocktails are inspired and different enough to deviate from the usual formulaic bartender recipes. The liquor selection is great (seriously, a place with good mezcal, tequila, whiskey and bourbon with their own respective cocktails... Goodluck with finding that unicorn often).
Jessica, Nolan and Sophia are great company and quite engaging. Sophia and Nolan kept me topped off and had great suggestions for drinks and wine. Jessica provided great charcuterie board recommendations as well as great grilled cheese recs with the two soups (seriously, get the soups, it's worth it).
But huge disclaimer, if you don't want grilled cheese, baguette stuff, and charcuterie boards and want things along the lines of a fancy French full dinner, find another place. You're in the mood for a heavier than expected combo or a fun chRc board with some cocktails or good wine, this place is great!
One of my worst beverage/ customer service experiences ever! I ordered a cocktail with “pear” in the title; so, I thought it’d taste like a refreshing pear. But, I was served a tiny drink with LOTS of ice that tasted like black licorice. When I asked if they made the wrong drink, the bartender said “No” then added a splash of pear liqueur. I walked outside & ate my lunch. Then I took a sip of the cocktail & it still tasted horrible— like bitter medicine. So, I went back in & asked to replace the bad cocktail with another drink. They tried to charge me for both drinks even though I didn’t drink the 1st horrible cocktail. They treated me incredibly rude & when they finally replaced the cocktail with a slightly better tasting option, the serving size was so tiny it felt like a communion wine serving. Horrible service & horrible drinks; BEWARE!
Great place, good cocktails with lower than average DC price
