After total disappointment in the trendy local taqueria, we found this place and loved it, coming back a second time during our visit to DC. Had good service, good food and really good Cadillac margaritas! Nice quiet atmosphere also~
We love La Lomita Dos. Never been to their physical location, but we like to order take out!
This is one of the worst tasting salsas I’ve ever tried. This is only second to salsa I tried in Alberta, Canada which was pretty much marinara. Also, when I ordered my entree the waiter was annoyed and suggested I change it to tilapia tacos. I don’t eat tilapia, sorry and how about we stick to what I asked for? I’ve ordered online from their other location and that was slightly better but I don’t think I will be back to this location.
Absolutely horrible. We ordered steak fajitas, chimichangas and enchiladas. The guacamole was brown, the salsa was inedible, the beans tasted like they were canned and the rice was bland. There was celery in my steak fajitas for some reason, and my plate was about a 3-1 onion to fajitas ratio. My 6 and 8 year old children literally asked for a turkey sandwich instead of finishing their dinner. Guarantee they will be closing soon if they keep this level of quality up.
Super friendly service, a friendly atmosphere, delicious food with the flavor Marxicano, especially kindness, I love it I give it more than 5 stars
Beef enchiladas are incredible! Great service. Friendly, timely, attentive. My favorite mexican spot in town.
Amazing chimichangas and nachos. Great vegetarian options!
Parking was a little bit of a problem and we couldn't read the meter because the sun made it impossible to see and we are short people and had to stand on toes to try to read it so our visit wad rushed for fear of getting a ticket but the food/service was excellent. I may have stopped here for take-out one night some mths. ago. It's a nice welcoming place to eat.
After a long, hot day walking the streets of DC, finally caved to the grub hub phenomenon and ordered dinner from here. Combo fajitas, chicken tacos and chips/salsa. Holy wow, everything was delicious! Whatever they are seasoning the meat with- YUM! Would definitely eat here again if we’re ever back in DC!
I’ve been coming to this place for 3-4 years!!!! And it’s my favorite place to eat Eric always makes me feel welcomed all the staff is friendly food is amazing my favorite is the salmon ? ;)

We stumbled upon this place by accident a few months ago and fell in love ever since. I 100% recommend this place! It’s family owned and serviced, and the family is lovey and genuine. GREAT small business to support, especially as I’m sure they’re trying to recover from COVID. If you want authentic Hispanic food and culture in DC, this is the place. Gracias!!!
Excellent food, and even better service!
The food was good, but the service was terrible. It took 15 minutes to get glasses water (the person who ordered a drink got it immediately).
We were so happy with their food quality. The product was so fresh and full of flavors. Homemade tortillas were amazing. All of the food was hot and really delicious. Not only were our guests happy, I was happy that I had lunch for the next week. I cannot wait to order from their in-store menu. Los Dos is the real deal!
The food and service were great.
