They were catering at a large outdoor event. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The gelato is very delicious - love the peach flavor, tasted very fresh and and chocolate chip flavor, very creamy!

Francesco and his team were wonderful to work with for our event. They were relaxed and helpful and treated us with respectful friendliness while organizing the event and then, of course, during it. The gelato was delicious! Our parish and school has booked la Marmotta several times for event and *everyone* is so excited when they see the cart roll up.

Love La Marmotta! They always cater my events and they do an incredible job - staff is super friendly and their gelato is so good and authentic, they have so many flavors (including amazing non-dairy flavors) and they're always huge hit with everyone who is served. Highly recommend for your events!

Francesco and his brother were the perfect fit for our wedding reception. Having spent time in Italy, we absolutely loved their authentic, delicious gelato. They really worked with us on our flavors and delivering exactly what we wanted. They provided such a charming and polite service for our guests. Having our own family experience with Downs Syndrome we love that their business does so much to support the community and dispel misconceptions. We highly recommend them for any event. La Marmotta was the biggest hit at our outdoor summer wedding! We used the gelato cart for our dessert instead of traditional cake. They were very easy to communicate with and the booking process was easy. They showed up and had everything set up on time, and the staff was very professional and provided great service. Not to mention they had TONS of flavor options to pre-select for our day! I would highly recommend hiring them for any private event.

Simply put, their gelato is fantastic. All the flavors are pure and clean, really tasting as they’re mean to—the hazelnut is especially divine. And they’re great people too. Definitely the best gelato in the DMV.
