La Piquette never disappoints . Service is attentive and fast. From appetizers to dessert, every mouthful that enters your palette making you smile . Perfect portions, with delicious wine pairings. Cocktail list is extensive and diverse.
Our evening at La Piquette, celebrating a friend's birthday, was delightful in every way. Delicious food. Our waiter, Santiago, was exceptional and went out of his way to ensure the evening was successful. Kudos and appreciation to the entire restaurant team.
I took a friend to lunch at Piquette to celebrate her birthday. Everything was delicious. The beet and goat cheese salad was outstanding. And the desserts were scrumptious (chocolate cake and chocolate mousse). My friend had to work in the morning so our reservation was at 2:15. This meant the waiters and staff had to stick around for our late lunch. They couldn't have been more gracious and considerate. This is a lovely restaurant.
Some places are flashy, some places are splashy - but La P reigns supreme in its food and service while the other restaurants come and go! The food and service never ever disappoint. I have many favorite dishes, i.e., the soups are my particular favorite with a glass or two of champagne. But what really makes La P special in addition to its food - it's the staff. Forget all the fancy places in DC - go to La P, it never disappoints. MCastillo
Friendliest staff and best service I have ever received.
Incredible food all around. The scallops are a must try.
Apple tart and chocolate mousse were highlights.
Also ordered the escargot, shrimp gigli, and duck breast, all were fantastic.

The short ribs are outstanding. My husband loved the steak frites. We both loved our beet salads (mine with goat cheese, his with burratta). We enjoyed sitting outside on such a nice evening, but wish we had used mosquito repellent.
Such a lovely spot for lunch, feels like a slice of Europe. All of our meals were delicious - we especially loved the leek and potato soup. Will definitely come return! The host was incredibly kind as well :)
As always, freshest ingredients prepared perfectly. Service attentive without pestering. Lovely dinner.
Our first time. Fairly casual, but has a French vibe to it. Our server, even though fairly new, was excellent. Food was quite good.
Very crowded. I ordered Steak Frites. The steak was tough and inedible. My companion ordered the same dish and it was fine; so, we shared. The dessert was good, as was the house white wine. The waiter cleared the plates and never said a word.

A nice, neighborhood restaurant, very good place to meet with friends for an evening out. Reasonably priced, which is a nice thing to find these days at a full-service restaurant.
Love this neighborhood gem, even though it's not our neighborhood!!! Friday lunch was great, though the restaurant is pretty loud and way expensive. However: food is consistently wonderful and served is super friendly. We make this trek every couple of months; it's a real treat for us!
Great place and great food and service although Assiette de Fromages was lacking (not v interesting cheeses except Brie and small portions and w apple?) Ceviche superb. Excellent wine.
A neighborhood treasure. Always consistently great food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommend !
Our dinner last night on Piquette's porch was superb. This may be our most favorite restaurant.
