Consistently excellent. The calamari, the jamon, the pan tomate, the cheeses... you can't go wrong. Staff is superb and very attentive: my wine glass stem snapped when I had very little left in my glass... they rushed to clean up & still replaced it with a full glass. Recommend sitting at the bar & watching the chef at work.
RUN don't walk to this fabulous little eatery!! They craft exceedingly delicious food and serve tasty drinks. The kitchen is lightning fast and the waitstaff extraordinarily pleasant and accommodating! We are foodies (plus hubby is a trained Chef) and we LOVED this place. We can't wait to return! We even liked it better than DLena... a more upscale Mexican restaurant in D.C.
We were hoping to go to Chicatana, but they were temporarily closed so we came here instead and it was a great lunch! They have delicious tacos at a super reasonable price. We tried al pastor, carnitas, camaron a la diabla (shrimp), carne asada, and pollo — none of them disappointed! I really wanted to try their seared scallops but they were out this time, so I’ll have to come back next time I’m in DC 😋
