Just macarons, pastries, drinks. They dont serve lunch. difficult/expensive parking in the area. Limited phone service when sitting inside. Beautiful decor.
I clearly told the store stuff that I have allergies to almond but they put almond stuffs in my order.

Wanted to leave this review just incase it might help for any future visits, My mom and I unfortunately learned during our most recent visit to this location over the weekend that they no longer do afternoon tea or any type of meal services to order anymore. :(
However they still offer a select few bakery and pastry options in their case(Not sure if we may have come on a day where they were out of alot or maybe they cut back on alot of their bakery/pastry options) and a few coffee/tea/hot chocolate options!

I’ve been in different locations of La Duree (worldwide) and never seen white plain paper cups for coffee and white plain paper bags for macarons. I am in shock. Even though taste is good I couldn’t enjoy the food. This service style feels completely out of sync with the brand's image.

Not ready for prime time.
Reservations for tea at 2:30pm for an 8 year old’s birthday.
A pretty little tea salon that was somewhat busy, but nothing extraordinary. A nice waitress, who finally got to our table 10 -15 minutes after being seated (there are fewer than a dozen tables total) and announced to us that the salon famous for its macarons, was OUT of ALL macarons, and, also OUT of 3 of the 4 kinds of tea sandwiches on the menu. This is at the START of tea time. At a TEA SALON. But they did still have tea! And we got to wait another 15 minutes for essentially a pot of tea to arrive.
Memorably mediocre. Hard pass.

Service was slow. Ordered hot chocolate (chocolat chaud) and it was cold when it arrived at the table. It took 15-20 minutes for the server to bring out eugenies and one chocolate barre. I love Ladurée but will not sit in the dining room again.

Having eaten at the laduree in Paris, this is a copy of a copy of a copy of the original. The pastries had a frozen taste. The decor needs upkeep.

The atmosphere and the food were very nice. But unfortunately I was charged extra twice. First I was charged $15.40 incorrectly, a transaction was supposedly canceled, charged correctly $30.52. Then I went back for an additional dessert, I was again incorrectly charged $4.29, then charged correctly $12.87. The employee said she canceled all the incorrect transactions. But that was a lie, all four transactions went through, both correct and incorrect. I didn't take a receipt, so I can only confirm my words with a screenshot from the bank's web page. I won't go here again and don't recommend others not to get charged extra.

Highly mediocre, bad coffee and so so pastries. You’re better off walking to any of the cafes nearby

Located along Georgetown’s bustling M street, this is a great cafe to visit with a friend or partner.
The atmosphere transports you elsewhere, almost as if you’ve left DC and found yourself in a cozy Parisian cafe. This location also celebrates many French holidays throughout the year, such as Bastille day, for any expats or francophiles looking for a third-place that celebrates them.
As for the tea and baked goods, you can’t go wrong with your selection. However, the Macarons are certainly the coup de grâce— the variety, texture, and flavor are among the best in DC.
Finally, if you want an elegant gift for a person or group, Laduree also prepares ornate gift box sets (ex. A chest of 20 macarons) of their goods.

Visited for tea/brunch which comes with a variety of offerings but is not worth the price. All pastries and macarons were exceptional. Don't waste your time on savory sandwiches - they are edible but not worth eating. Drinks were fine - my group had assorted lattes and juice.
Everyone who served us was kind and doing their best. Unfortunately the restaurant seemed shortstaffed for a weekend during the day. This resulted in bad service. It took 10+ minutes for drinks. Food and water refills took much longer which was baffling. We ordered cold sandwiches, pastries, and macarons.
The most egregious issues were related to ambiance. 1) There were two paper cups on the floor next to our table collecting water that dripped from the ceiling. 2) Fruit flies at our table landed in one person's coffee, which they drank anyway because it took so long to arrive. 3) Glassware with the initial table setting was visibly dirty. 4) Our table was not bussed at any point during the meal. This became a problem because the table was too small for the assortment of plates, towers, and drinks that come with tea service.
Would recommend purchasing sweets to go but anything else is a gamble.

What a charming spot my son and I stumbled upon. We each got the Laduree omelet which came with a simple and delicious salad. Wonderful! We split a warmed up chocolate croissant and it was the best ever. Coffee was fab too. Staff were friendly and charming. Will be back to try all the amazing desserts!
