Wanted to leave this review just incase it might help for any future visits, My mom and I unfortunately learned during our most recent visit to this location over the weekend that they no longer do afternoon tea or any type of meal services to order anymore. :(

However they still offer a select few bakery and pastry options in their case(Not sure if we may have come on a day where they were out of alot or maybe they cut back on alot of their bakery/pastry options)...

I’ve been in different locations of La Duree (worldwide) and never seen white plain paper cups for coffee and white plain paper bags for macarons. I am in shock. Even though taste is good I couldn’t enjoy the food. This service style feels completely out of sync with the brand's image.

Located along Georgetown’s bustling M street, this is a great cafe to visit with a friend or partner.

The atmosphere transports you elsewhere, almost as if you’ve left DC and found yourself in a cozy Parisian cafe. This location also celebrates many French holidays throughout the year, such as Bastille day, for any expats or francophiles looking for a third-place that celebrates them.

As for the tea and baked goods, you can’t go wrong...
