Soup dumplings had no soup in them. It clearly broke and then they transferred the soup less dumplings to the takeout container. The buns were good. The chicken bun was the best flavor wise.

I'd say these are nothing more than "okay". As someone pointed out, they're just frozen dumplings they heat up then throw what looks like two cups of green onions on top. It took nearly 20 minutes to get 6 dumplings when the person who ordered in front of me got the same thing and they only waited about 5 minutes. The reason - one of their buddies walked up to the pickup counter, hung out for a few minutes while everyone behind stood around talking to him, then they slid him a tray and he walked away. I'm a quiet person who likes to people watch and this guy never ordered. When myvorder was finally called, I was pretty disappointed but I was hungry, I already paid, so I just left and got food elsewhere. I like the Union Market, but I won't bother with this place again unless I'm just grabbing the frozen dumplings to take home.

The dumplings were pretty good—we had the ginger chicken and beef ones. Unfortunately, they were out of the pork & chive. Prices were super reasonable, especially for Union Market. Service was also quick, even on a busy Friday night!

For a place that’s namesake is about dumplings I expected fresh house made dumplings. I was disappointed in these as they are just steamed frozen dumplings- some of which were over steamed and broken when we got our order. The little shop of snacks is nice but overall I won’t be back. I’d rather just get some dumplings from H mart and steam them at home. There are more options in Union market that make their food fresh.

The dumplings are amazing I’ve had them several times however there is one employee that works there who was extremely rude and lacks cultural sensitivity. I wonder if anyone else has experienced him. When approaching the stand the we said “greetings gang “ and “peace my boy” witch are both terms used to show kinship in the black community. He responded by cussing and demanding that we leave. I responded “perhaps it’s just a cultural diffidence he then responded by saying he isn’t here to play games. And as a business owner nor am I. He was highly offended and wouldn’t let us proceed to order our food.
I was ordering food for my entire staff so he missed out on a large order nearly $400 So we decided to order food else where. Very poor customer service
Got orders of their ginger chicken dumplings, pork soup dumplings, and cucumber salad. Texture of the dumplings was off and seemed like the meat was either overcooked or had been sitting for awhile (quite possible since my food was ready within ~2 mins of me ordering; it was definitely not freshly steamed). Flavor was also really bad. You’re better off getting the frozen dumplings from Trader Joe’s and steaming your own batch at home than paying 2x the price for mediocre half assed dumplings from this place.
