Laos is a regular stop for me--delicious food and excellent cocktails. Their wine list isn't bad either. I find most things have a pleasant kick, but you might want to check on spice level if you're sensitive.
Excellent service, great environment.
We got the guava juice, chive cakes, rockfish, and lamb shank. The rockfish was packed with sweet, spicy, and savory flavor. And the chive cakes were unexpectedly chewy and delicious paired with an acidic soy sauce. We had Louis as our server who provided amazing service.
Great food and atmosphere at Laos in Town. The lychee juice in particular was refreshing and perfect for a hot day. Louis, our server, was friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend!
One of the best experiences while visiting DC. The food and service were amazing. We had the Suki and Khua Khao and we really liked it. Thanks, Rebeca for making this experience even better.
Louis was our sever and was very attentive! We had an enjoyable time. Chive cakes were delicious and the vegan menu was cool and not something I see often.
Great service from Louis! The food was great and the atmosphere was super chic. Loved the fried rice!
Louis was very attentive and took great care of us! It was my first time having Laotian food and I must say this was a great experience! Highly recommend
Amazing dishes. Chive cakes, marigold, Laos wine, the butterfly and hummingbird were delicious. The presentation on the pla tong ma was almost as good as the flavor. Aim helped us choose our dishes and provided excellent service.
Ordered the chive cakes and wagu beef with mushrooms.
The appetizer is extremely over priced and the main dish went wrong. The mushrooms especially the wood ear have a punching bitter taste as if they were marinated by medicine for a long time. But the kitchen said the taste was due to black pepper and is normal. I personally don’t think black pepper could and should give that strong bitter taste, and it is more likely the wood ear went bad.
Anyway, I might be “lucky” to get the rat dropping from a bunch of good stuffs. But based on what I got and experienced, it worth no more than one star.

Awfully ,After eating a meal, stomach pain, gastroenteritis and diarrhea for two days, it is not doubtful whether the food is clean…

The calamari was the only thing that was average but the rest of the dishes were terrible, what I did like was the service, the atmosphere and the decoration
Parking: You have to go around to find free parking on the street, but it is found

Had the glass noodles with octopus and shrimp which were great. However, the portion of mango sticky rice was not worth $12 - mound of rice was smaller than a tiny coaster (maybe like the size of a teeny compact mirror), and I literally got 4 little chunks of mango 😭 Really disappointing end to my meal.
Warning: The sticky rice portion looks NOTHING like photos previously posted in reviews here.

Lao food is very delicious! Well prepared and well served. The attention is very good, especially I congratulate Logan who did not attend today. The only thing you should keep in mind is that it is not pleasant for them to start cleaning the restaurant, sweeping and vacuuming the chairs at the empty tables when there are still customers dining.

Overpriced food. Explains why it lost the Michelin Star. My friend got the pork shoulder and it was all fat, super greasy and cannot be eaten, the only explanation they give is that they cannot control the meat quality?! Spend your money in other place
