Came to Laredo after a busy day at the zoo and I am so glad I did. First of all the staff is very sweet and friendly. Secondly, the food was all very fresh and very filling! The margs were some of the best I had as well. Worth every penny and whenever I come to the area I would definitely come again.
I recently dined at Laredo restaurant, and it was an amazing experience! The Tex-Mex food was absolutely delicious—full of bold flavors and cooked to perfection. we had a blast!

I had an amazing lunch experience at Laredo Restaurante! The food was absolutely delicious, starting with the Tacos Veracruz, which were bursting with flavor. The Masitas de Puerco were hands down the best I’ve ever had in DC, perfectly tender and flavorful. The Carne and Shrimp Fajitas were to die for—so juicy and well-seasoned. And let’s not forget the margaritas—super refreshing and delicious! Highly recommend this place, and a special shoutout to Marta, the best hostess ever, 10/10!

This is a great spot with both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit indoors. The music was loud but not loud enough, we couldn't hold a conversation. My wife got a burrito bowl, said it was great. I got the chicken enchiladas, they were great chicken was moist, and the presentation/portion sizes are perfect. Staff was welcoming and let us take our time with the menu. Be careful of the margaritas as they are STRONG!!!

tacos al pastor didn’t look like what we expected it. tacos al carbon is very delicious and portions are enough to feed one person. Service was little off. We waited a lot just to get the check. Could be better. Overall it’s worth to try but could be better.

The staff is excellent. Food is always amazing. Vegan options and vegetarian options with wide variety. The salsa and chips keep me coming back. Love the decor. Anyone who comes to visit especially say the Zoo. Stop by and have a wonderful meal and relax.

The food is not very good and far too expensive for what it is. They do have great Margarita pitcher and happy hour deals. Come here for drinks, not food.

They have veg/vegan menu. The tofu appetizer is great. The staff is friendly. Atmosphere is a comfortable space. Lots of spirit in there certain evenings of the week but makes things loaded with fun.
Vegetarian options: As said before, I love the tofu app. Great flavor. I normally go with cheese or spinach enchiladas. The portions are generous so I normally ask for a la carte to skip beans & rice. Be sure when you are seated to tell your server you are vegetarian and to be sure to help you not make a mistake.
Dietary restrictions: They do mark on the menu “black beans & white rice” for veg/vegan. I do not know about gluten.
Kid-friendliness: Two 12 year olds after the Zoo & ice cream barely held together & the staff person just went with it. He was very easy going. Good food options for little kids. Ask for the kids menu.

Overpriced and the food is unremarkable. The service is attentive and kind but this is a total tourist trap for zoo folk. Don’t do it.
