This place was amazing. The food was extremely fresh NOTHING frozen. There drinks are amazing are worth the money. They gave us complementary shots before we got our checks and they were VERY generous with what they served us. Food is also reasonably priced. My friends and I are grad students and it was excellent.

I am reading all these negative reviews and feel like I went to a different restaurant. I really enjoyed the visit. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, our drinks were good and the food was delicious. The restaurant has a beautiful Mexican decor, and one wonderful thing I noted was that it was quiet. The dining room has only five tables, so you have an almost private dinner unlike at the majority of other places where the dining area is so big that there is always a group of screaming people that ruin your whole experience. We are definitely going back soon.

Me and my girlfriend come here all the time! This is our go to spot for margaritas and delicious Mexican food. The staff is really friendly and makes you feel like you're at home. The owner works hard to make this place one of the best in DC.
I had a really good time at this restaurant, the atmosphere felt warming and welcoming as it was my first time. Our waiter ( Tacla) I’m not sure if that’s how his name is spelled but it is Aztec origin, was very attentive and made sure he gave us the best friendly and professional service the entire time.
