Lavender honey ice cream is just okay. Texture is relatively creamy, but the lavender flavor is not the most well defined. It is also a tiny bit artificial tasting. That's not to say that I think it is artificial, but just that the way the flavor profile surfaces tastes that way. Prices are also pretty high.
I wish I could remember his name but the gentleman that was helping us was so patient and kind (May 18th, 3pm-ish) as my mother tried the flavors to find the perfect one.

As far as homemade ice cream goes, this ice cream is delicious. Really can't go wrong with anything here, and it's a great location near dupont circle. Who doesn't love great ice cream? Check it out.
