Not as good as it used to be. VERY few vegetarian options. Beans cannot be substituted for meat. Items are pre-made.

I had made a reservation for 7:45pm a week in advance, got there early at 7:20pm, then had to wait in a very long line. After a long time waiting I got to the front and I told them I had a reservation, they put my number down and said it will be an hour or more wait for my RESERVED table. The customer service was awful as well, and I never got a call back from them for the rest of the night, despite my reservation and my name and number written down.

I made this reservation well in advance. We arrived exactly at 6:00 PM, and they were letting people in without reservations on a first-come, first-served basis. This meant that we stood in line to ask for our table, and right in front of us, a woman without a reservation arrived and was given a table for four and allowed to go in.
When it was my turn, the hostess told me they no longer had any tables available. I showed her my reservation, and she said it didn’t matter, it was based on who arrived first. I am pregnant, and we came from very far away to try this restaurant. They had us wait off to the side for 20 minutes. I approached the hostess to ask how much longer it would be, and she said they only had tables for two people. At that same moment, she let another group without a reservation go in.
This is truly disrespectful of people’s time. If they are not going to honor reservations made in advance, they should not offer the option to make one. It’s a shame, the food was good, but we will never be coming back

Attended on Valentine’s Day. Experience was subpar. It all started as soon as we walked in. We were met by a host who just looked extremely annoyed he was working. We were sat down. We ordered appetizers and our food but they brought our appetizers at the same time as the food. We had a small table so it was very uncomfortable. Our waiter was annoyed when I requested certain food modifications. Not once did he come to check in on us and the food or to see if we needed anything additional. I ordered 2 cokes in addition to our cocktails. It took our waiter a good 20 minutes to bring out our cokes. I know Valentine’s Day is a busy day but it is the restaurants job to ensure enough people are scheduled to keep up with the level of demand this day creates. Also our waiter gave us our check without asking if we even wanted dessert. I’ll definitely have to reconsider visiting this restaurant due to the terrible service. We were not the only ones, table next to us couldn’t wait to get out because of how bad the service was.

Made a 7pm reservation for Valentines. Arrived to an extremely long line and told even though I had a reservations for weeks, there is a 2 hour wait. Many people with reservations were turned away at the door. Unacceptable

Went to LP on Valentines Day. To start, the reservation desk was a mess and the people working were taking a long time, so they lobby was backing up. We waited 10 minutes in line, despite being early for our 6pm reservation. The wait staff were busy bustling all about and doing everything except attend to customers. My partners steak came out absolutely ice cold and my pork dish was overcooked and very chewy. Not to forget, we ordered and the food didnt come for 55 minutes. Our beverages were never refilled. We were never offered dessert and not once did anyone ask if things tasted good - we had to tell them about the cold steak. Currently we have been here for over 90 minutes and still waiting for a check. LP has been a nice restaurant typically, but tonight was not their best effort. We will not be back for a long time.

Hmmm the vegetarian dishes here were not good at all…! The nachos and enchilada were honestly abhorrent ;__; Surprisingly limited options for the cuisine, too.

The chips, salsa, and mojitos were alright and the service was friendly. Overall pretty pricey.

Edit: we both got food poisoning on top of all this 😭😭

I used to enjoy this restaurant for its quality and generous portions. After years, I ordered takeout and was very disappointed. The food lacked flavor, portions were extremely small for the price ($30+per meal), and several items were poorly prepared. The salmon was tasteless, shrimp portions were minimal, and the chicken tacos were steamed instead of grilled with very small portions. Overall, the value did not match the cost. I would not recommend this restaurant given the price and experience.

Lauriol Plaza remains a gem for neighborhood Mexican food. We enjoyed quiet service, good margaritas as well as fajitas and enchiladas. It is noticeably quieter than many other area restaurants.

Some of the best food I've ever had. The salmon was delicious. The tres leches was one of the best deserts I've eaten. Will definitely be returning. Our server was amazing.

Great Customer Service. I don't remember my waitress name, young black woman. Who was very nice and on point. The food was amazing, me and my family enjoyed everything.
