My most favorite for Spanish food! The Margherita was so good, and the chips for the salsa had been warmed. Don't pass on this one while you can still sit outside.

Kid-friendliness: Took my granddaughter with me who was very comfortable inside. A dad and daughter were also there, who we noticed eating on the patio.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. North Americanized Mexican food reason for a 4/5.

It's okay. Nothing struck me as, "WOW we have to come back here!", with so many great restaurants in the area I'd probably go someplace else. Chips, salsa, and queso is good. Skinny margaritas are good. My colleague and I split a chimichanga and it was meh.

Best Kept Secret in DC!

Fantastic food, every time. I've been going to this restaurant for over 15 years and is one of my all time favorites. Have eaten just about everything on the menu over time and I am never disappointed.

Of all, my favorite dish is Lomo Saltado.... You must try this!

Great staff too, many have been there for 20 years. They have 4 different seating areas from street to rooftop.

Final point, you haven't lived until you have had one of their swirley frozen margaritas.....

I must say we had high hopes of Lariol from previous visits in the late 90's and early 2000's. The restaurant is a sad version of it's former glory. Wait staff looked confused and stood in corner gossiping for about 10 mins until we flagged them over for help. Menu is ridden with spelling errors making it hard to understand the intended descriptions. The food was luke warm upon arrival and the dishes lacked the cuban inspired flavor it was meant to have. Dessert tasted of freezer burn. With all the unique and vibrant new restaurants in the area I find it hard to imagine why any would patronize Lariol. Hopefully those with high expectations read this and look for a more professional and unique dining experience.

We found a piece of plastic in a dish and management refunded us for the dish. The food and service was good.

This place is amazing. It is a must to go here when in DC. You will not be disappointed and the frozen margaritas (swirl is the best) and all food is off the charts good. I am so jealous if you live in DC and can go here often.

Nice restaurant with a big variety of Latin dishes. Ask your server for the daily specials.

I proposed to my future wife in this restaurant, and the service was amazing. The manager, Miguel, supplied the flowers and provided good service. I recommend this place. The owner, Luis, helps you settle at any event. It was a great experience for me and this restaurant.

Parking: The valet parking give a good food recommendation. Also he was very friendly.

I have been a patron for over 30 years and I was very disappointed with my recent experience. The Seafood soup was not robust and the service was poor when there were fewer than 20 people on the first level having a late lunch. I also ordered Bronzini fish prepared with shrimp fruit sauce to take out. When I got home and I opened it up it was Bronzini with peppers and tomato slice.
