ONE OF THE BEST In DC still can't get enough of the swirl frozen margaritas. Food is always consistent. I've been in DC at least a decade always enjoyable, small wait time for table.Parking: Have a lot but it fills quickly. Annex parking is a couple blocks away and then DC street parking will be a challenge.Kid-friendliness: Yes accommodates children well.Wheelchair accessibility: Will need assitance to get to first dinning level

I booked a reservation for Cinco de Mayo nearly a month in advance, and Lauriol Plaza canceled my reservation a week before with no call or notice! I had already told friends about the reservations and made plans to meet there. The management said "That is their busiest day and they canceled all reservations to be first come first serve". THIS MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL!! Reservations would reduce a chaos and long wait times. I tried to explain to him that I made plans based around being there, but he said"sorry all reservations are canceled, there nothing I can do. How is there nothing you can do AS THE MANAGER? RIDICULOUS! Now I'm stuck with no destination for Cinco de Mayo because everywhere is booked now!

That’s why my overall rank is 2 stars.Vegetarian options: Since I am a fellow veggytarrrian I loved to eat meat today since there was no veggy optionsDietary restrictions: If you have and allergies, which I have lots, your probably going to dieParking: Since I drive my car around all alone all the time I crashed it into a pole 6 blocks down the street because no parking was available.Kid-friendliness: I am 4 years old and I’m on my step uncles phones and the kid friendliness is Alr. They asked me a lot of questions about school. I hate school.Wheelchair accessibility: Since I’m in a wheelchair I person had lots of trouble getting up the 16 flights of ladder.

Has gone down over time.Absolutely awful service and absolutely awful tasteless food. Had us wait 30 mins to be seated. They act like they are a more upscale restaurant but they are not, just price gouging with worthless specials. No Taco Tuesday specials whatsoever.Fish tacos came cold and tough, quesadillas were also tasteless and hard. They put too much cilantro or something bitter in the shrimp taco. Just horrible.Save yourself time and money and go somewhere else. There are plenty other way better tasting Mexican restaurants in DC.I was so disappointed and embarrassed because I had brought my friend from out of town here. She didn't enjoy the food at all.Only good takeaway was that the Margaritas are great. But overall they need to work on hiring better cooks and wait staff.

I had the worst experience at this restaurant on 4/13/24. After making a 630pm reservation for 14, upon arrival 15 minutes early, we were told that the table was not ready, that it world be another 10 minutes. Forty minutes and 2 check- ins later, we were taken to an area just up the steps and on the main level. There we saw 3 square tackle that could, possibly seat 4 people, with one pertain on each side. However, the setting they provided was 2 people per side (utilizing only 2 sides of each table), since the tables were joined to make a larger table. Additionally, there were only 13 chairs and we setting. I need to add here that one of these tables had 5 chairs.I called for the manager and the person who was in charge of seating came by. I told him my concern. He, without empathy or remorse stated either I accept it as is or wait another ro minutes. I made him aware that a reservation was made and that I had already waited 40 minutes for a table. He was very non-chalant.I went to the host table and requested a manager. I told her the situation and she used the radio to request the manager. Soon after an employee came and said that only the floor supervisor was there. I told her that I was informed that there was a manager by the host. She then preceded to talk Spanish to the host.My opinion here is that quantity (having a full house) was more imputation than quality (provide A1 service to customers). There was nothing spacious about the seating. Everyone was packed in like sardines in a can. Even food that was being served was touching places or shouldn't be touching (stairs, and,other people's body parts) because of the limited space between seats and people.My 13 guests and I left. Never going back there.
