I really wanted to relax and read my book here but the tables are so close that people talking next to you make it difficult to focus. Otherwise, the food was great and the people very friendly!

It was a busy spot at 10am but a good spot to see congress critters. Its right next to the capital. Coffee is hot, food fresh. If i am in dc, I will come back.

Lunch spot near the Capitol. Clean and orderly. The food is fresh and properly cooked, more on the healthy side.

Nice little breakfast spot. It was busy when I visited on a Saturday morning which was a good sign. I ordered the make your own omelet and a latte and was not disappointed. Very tasty and good counter service. If I’m ever in DC again I’ll be back.

Adorable French-style café walking distance from the Capitol Building. More seating than what you'd expect in such a small building but still limited. Drinks are a little pricy, but I found the quality to be generally better than some other places.
I'm taking one star off because service was very, very slow. One drink took over 15 minutes. I was quite literally milliseconds away from missing my train; I had to sprint to the subway station a few blocks over and squeezed through the train doors as they were closing.
Would I return? Yes!

Cute little cafe that we stumbled upon and stopped for breakfast. Menus is fairly small but what you would expect. Nice staff, quick service and lovely outdoor seating with beautiful flowers and little birds wanting to catch your crumbs. Yummy food and close to the everything in DC but far another away that you aren't disturbed.
From the moment I stepped through the door, the warm, inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and artisanal pastries enveloped me like a cozy hug. The decor is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern minimalism, with exposed brick walls adorned with local artwork and plush seating that begs you to linger.
I started with their signature latte, which was nothing short of perfection: velvety foam artfully swirled atop rich, ethically sourced espresso that had just the right balance of boldness and smoothness. Paired it with a flaky almond croissant that practically melted in my mouth—crisp on the outside, buttery and nutty within. For something heartier, I tried the avocado toast on sourdough, topped with heirloom tomatoes, poached eggs, and a sprinkle of chili flakes. It was fresh, flavorful, and elevated by their house-made herb-infused olive oil. Everything tasted like it was made with love and the finest ingredients.

Overall, a no frills café with a convenient location. Ordered a coffee and a latte. Both were more than adequate, but the latte did take longer than expected to ready. Didn’t hinder the experience. Staff was friendly.

Stopped by for a coffee break with a colleague. Good espresso and pastries … congressional offices are near by. It was quiet when we were there - but looks like this place can get busy. Highly recommend.

I ordered group lunchboxes from Le Bon Cafe and they were amazing. Sandwiches were great, nice sweet treat, amazing fruit mix, and potato salad. Really impressed with the elevated lunch box.

This is near the Library of Congress, which made it a wonderful stop on our way from LoC to Air & Space Museum.
Celebrations - Staff were friendly. Food was great. We had a strawberry banana smoothie and a piece of coffee cake. Both were delicious.
Downside - The size of the cafe is far too small for the popularity. We were there around lunch time on a Friday, which probably added to the crowd, but it was uncomfortably squished inside. Fortunately, the weather was nice, so most of our party stood outside while two people went inside.
If we are in the area, we would stop here again for a smoothie while walking to our next destination, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

Decent enough for what it is - a place to grab a quick breakfast that isn’t fast food.
My food was cold and the tables and restroom dirty. My kids enjoyed their food though. And portions are decent for the price.

Great place to grab a coffee and pastry for breakfast or a wonderful lunch. Eat outside if the weather is nice because seating inside is limited.
Went there for coffee. Didn't get any food, but it looked really good. The coffee was fantastic. We sat outside and enjoyed it. Awesome place!
