The food was smacking. Spicy tuna, chicken and mushrooms, and crème brûlée were the best I've ever had. Great prices and service too.
I had a lovely time celebrating my 79-yr-old friend's birthday. The food was great, the ambiance was fun, the staff was attentive and cheerful, and they brought her a comped dessert at the end. I'll definitely be back.
Le Desales is a cool, laid-back spot with awesome food and good vibes. The fish &chips roll is crispy and fun, the French onion soup hits all the cozy notes, and the branzino is super fresh and flavorful. Great place to chill and eat something a little different
Paris‑meets‑Mid‑Atlantic vibe: polished but not fussy, bistro classics and playful sushi rolls. Service is attentive. European way—plates arrive when they're ready, not on a stopwatch—so settle in and let the evening unfold. Food is where Le DeSales really flexes: pristine seafood, confident seasoning, and the occasional wink (hello, Kobe beef roll ). Bottom Line If you're craving a dinner that feels special without tipping into white‑tablecloth formality, Le DeSales delivers—from inventive sushi rolls to spot‑on bistro plates. Book a table at golden hour, start with bubbles, and let the kitchen steer the rest of your night.
Great food, great service. Gris was very attentive and welcoming! Le Desales has become one of favorite spots. Thanks gris!!
Waitress was great. I was there for my birthday, and it felt special. She catered to my date and made it a worthwhile, genuine experience. She made great food recommendations.
A really nice place to enjoy good food and drinks, service was really good starting from Gris the manager who welcomes you and treats you very good. I would definitely recommend this place if you'd like to have a good time.
I had a delicious lunch at Le DeSales. I recommend both the onion soup and the salmon ~ They were both absolutely spectacular. The drinks are delicious, and our waitress was attentive and friendly. The vibe of the restaurant is energetic and the decor is beautiful, making for a wonderful vibe and a positive dining experience. I will be back to try the dinner menu.
This place is pretty inside with a warm ambiance. I met the owner who was very nice and accommodating. I came here because I wanted crème brûlée and I’m glad I did because it was amazing! Our server/bartender Luis was nice and helpful.
I would definitely recommend this spot.

Nice restaurant across the street from the Mayflower with amazing bar. The service was good and a nice selection of food and drinks. The sushi was fine but nothing memorable and the steak was underwhelming.

I couldn’t afford to dine there this time, but if I ever have the means in the future, this is a restaurant I’d love to visit. Not only does it have great reviews for its food, but even from the outside, the atmosphere looked absolutely beautiful.

Being French I was pleasantly surprised by some of the dishes available. Felt legit for some, fun twist on others. Like the tartare sauce on top my Beef Tartare. Interesting variation.

The perfect place for a pleasant, light dinner across from the Mayflower. I particular liked the Shishito peppers, the French onion soup, and the crème brûlée (which I acceded to in a moment of weakness, with no regrets!)
Vegetarian options: There was a good selection of vegetarian appetizers and side dishes, which, when combined, resulted in a very nice dinner.
