The place is really nice and the service was amazing. But the sushi was too salty until the point that was hard to eat it all.

Absolutely amazing ! It’s a french + asian fusion, I was really impressed. We went during happy hour at the bar ~5 pm and it was PACKED, however, around 6:30 when we left, it was much emptier so that is a better time to go. This place tops DC’s happy hour scene w great prices and great food

Never got to try their food all the waiters hurried around me while I stood up front waiting for a table. No greeting or anything.

Mixed bag. Aged Negroni was very disappointing — weak/watery. Shots-tini was excellent. Little gem lettuce salad looked great but was way overdressed, washing out other flavors. Hamachi crudo was solid, although one piece seemed a bit off in flavor. Scallop Aburi was delicious— best item we had. Crispy shrimp and salmon ceviche rolls were both nicely done. Service was attentive and I like the casual, yet some elevated atmosphere. So pleasant overall with some distinct misses.
Service was amazing. Food, not so much - chicken was over-cooked and there was lipstick on a glass.. The setting was nice but very loud.

The staff was ready to go home. Our server seemed angry. Staff was socializing, even sitting at tables and checking phones. We did not get refills on water or drinks or offered dessert. Although we were eager to leave this experience behind. Why does the restaurant offer reservations at that time if their employees are so clearly unhappy about working at that time?

It's a hidden gem downtown DC. Very good Japanese/French restaurant. The food was outstanding! The only negative (restaurant is not guilty for that) is the noise level, which is too loud for me until I eat my dinner.
server didn't look like she wanted to be there. they attempted to take my plate everytime to the point where i was scared to put my fork down cause they wanted my plate so i felt extremely rushed. all our food came out relatively within 30 minutes so i didn't get to really finish my appetizers before i got my branzino. my bf's pasta was bland and basically mush so we sent it back. the french onion soup lacked an onion taste but tasted like bland stock. the tartare had was too much onion so i couldn't taste the actual meat and way too much aioli. everything seemed to lack salt. the drinks were good and the dessert was good. that's the only thing i liked about the experience. all in all don't ask us to come in earlier if you're gonna to try and rush us out in 30 minutes.

Very nice French/Asian fusion restaurant. Sushi was delicious, service was prompt, and staff were friendly. Entrees were ~ $20-$45 and didn't include sides, which were ~$10 each (bacon mac and cheese >> broccolini), all of which was made quickly and well done (except for the steak which was perfectly rare). Would recommend for a date night.
