Definitely a vibe. Portions are light, but in a refined way. If you like margaritas get the Phoenix, also if you get the steak, order the Le Sel bread as an appetizer; comes with different kosher salts you can also put on your steak;) Great spot to impress for date night.
If you are not open for business you need to change the operating hours and not waist people’s time misleading them.

Honestly, I am deeply disappointed with this experience. For an establishment marketing itself as a "French restaurant," the staff appears to have a total lack of understanding regarding basic restaurant etiquette and the finesse required for this cuisine. The Service: Amateur at Best The service was, frankly, chaotic. There was no discernible sense of order; drinks and dishes were served from the wrong side, violating the most basic rules of formal dining. To make matters worse: • Lack of Refinement: Water was poured to the very brim of the glass, a clumsy gesture more suited to a 24/7 roadside diner than a supposed bistro. • Constant Interruptions: The staff displayed a complete lack of situational awareness, constantly interrupting our conversation to ask "how things are." A true professional knows how to read a table; here, it felt like being pestered. The Kitchen: Subpar Execution The food did nothing to redeem the poor service. The Steak Frites—a staple of French dining—was a disaster. The steak I was served contained the highest percentage of unrendered fat I have ever encountered in a professional kitchen. It was poorly butchered and even more poorly prepared. Final Verdict If you are looking for an authentic French atmosphere with polished service and quality ingredients, look elsewhere. This establishment has a lot to learn about the culture they are attempting to represent. I will not be returning

Very average food, or I was unlucky.
French onion soup was below average - over-salted, bread was dry inside, and cheese was all white, melted, but not tanned, I doubt they heated it up in the oven. Looked more like a microwave, or really undercooked in the oven.
Duck breast confit: I was not asked how I want it cooked. On the plate it was random, mainly well done. Plate also contained foie gras, which was noted in the description, however, also pieces of other parts of duck, which were definitely not freshly cooked and re-heated, and not mentioned in the plate description in the menu. Disappointing.
The only really nice plate was the creme brûlée. Very recommended.
However, I wouldn’t go again.

Visited on a Sunday evening for dinner. Overall, too expensive for what you get in terms of service and food. From the start the service was very cold and unwelcoming. We ordered a cheese plate that was served with 5 slices of bread for a table of three - barely enough for the cheese. We ordered a wine bottle that was dated 2016. When the bottle was brought to the table it was a 2022. No price adjustment - same price. Food was okay with some of the dishes having a high probability of not being prepared at the restaurant.
Save your money and go elsewhere.

It’s a hotel restaurant and there is no escaping that. Food was good but ambiance isn’t there. Go to le dip. It’s a classic for a reason.

It was the restaurant in Cedar hotel so it was our go to for our short weekend visiting DC over the holiday. Better than typical restaurant there fare!

Enjoyed dinner with Helen as our server. Escargot was lovely (needed to ask for a little folk to get the buggers out!) my husband enjoyed the mussels. They came in a rich smoky/masculine broth. Both came with bread. French onion 🧅soup was yummy. Through your base was excellent but a little smaller than he expected.
Love the comfortable and spacious seating.
Would definitely recommend and return.

Decent food. It wasn't amazing food but I was pleased overall. Wine prices weren't too bad either.
Plain bistro. Great food.

The mussels in the bouillabaisse were full of sand and completely inedible.
