We’ve been here twice now and the food was amazing, but this location seems very short staffed. The first time we ordered a medium pizza in store and waited almost an hour for the order. The second time, we ordered ahead online, then went to the store at the pick-up time only to wait another 30mins for the order. Will not come here again.

Just called at 1002pm after trying to order online and it saying that no orders can be took online. The first two times the phones was answered and I was hung up on. The third time the young lady answered and I asked to make a order for pickup. Her reply was that they are closed. I told her it says online in several places and on the website that you close at 11p. She replied no we close at 10pm on Saturdays. If this is true, your hours need to be updated. If this isn't the whole crew including the manager needs to be addressed because it becomes a matter of integrity.

Ordered lunch for the store. I love ledo's pizza but today's order tasted unfresh and simply put horrible. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. There was a lot of water on the bottom. It took the taste away from the sauce and spaghetti tasted as if it was reheated. My coworkers ordered a calzone and a steak and cheese combo both had the same comment: food tasted unfresh and reheated no one finished their lunch. When a steak and cheese is freshly cooked you can tell the meat doesn't taste old. The staff when I arrived to pick up the food was awesome!

As a long-time resident of the DC area, I can say with certainty that Ledo Pizza on 12th St NE is one of the best pizza joints in the city. This local institution has been serving up delectable, award-winning pies for decades, and it's easy to see why it has maintained such a loyal following. The first thing that sets Ledo Pizza apart is the crust. Rather than the typical thin, crispy base, Ledo opts for a thicker, almost rectangular-shaped crust that is both sturdy and remarkably light and airy. It has just the right balance of chewiness and crispness, providing the perfect foundation for the generous toppings.Speaking of toppings, Ledo takes great pride in using only the freshest, high-quality ingredients. The tomato sauce is zesty and flavorful, the mozzarella cheese is creamy and melty, and the selection of classic and specialty toppings (think pepperoni, mushrooms, sausage, and more) are all perfectly cooked and balanced. But what truly makes Ledo Pizza stand out is the level of care and attention that goes into every single pie. The staff is clearly passionate about their craft, taking the time to ensure each order is prepared with precision and pride. The result is a pizza that is not only visually appealing but also bursting with flavor in every bite.Beyond the incredible food, the atmosphere at the 12th St location is equally inviting. The cozy, casual dining room offers a welcoming vibe, whether you're grabbing a quick slice for lunch or settling in for a leisurely dinner with friends and family. The service is also top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who are always happy to offer recommendations or accommodate special requests. In a city with no shortage of pizza options, Ledo on 12th St NE stands head and shoulders above the rest. If you're in the mood for a truly exceptional pizza experience, this is the place to be. I can't recommend it highly enough.

The pizza was disgusting. Over priced, they have roaches. Saw a rat in the parking lot next to their front door in our way out. Was so grossed out I had to throw away the overpriced greasy pizza. Please go to the place next door for quality pizza.
