Walked into Legacy HiFi on a whim and ended up discovering one of the best bars in DC. The vibe is unmatched—dim lighting, vinyl spinning behind the bar, and sound that wraps around you like a warm jacket. It’s like a listening lounge meets cocktail haven. The bartender crafted a drink based on my mood (smooth with a twist), and the music sparked conversations between strangers. No TVs, no noise—just good drinks, great people, and legendary sound. If you love music and a damn good cocktail, this place is a must.
They also have a kick ass karaoke night on Wednesdays!

Do not support them. They don’t treat their staff well AT ALL. They unceremoniously shafted an opening partner, didn’t pay them, and yet used their name, talent, and pictures to help promote themselves. These owners could learn a little something about treating their people right. It’s horrible what they’ve done and karma will come back and bite them in the ass when it matters most. Shameful.

Seems like it could be a cool spot when the kitchen is reopened, but drinks are massively overpriced (with an unspecified service charge tacked on) especially when, despite the bartender's assertion that it should be, the draught Strongbow is served flat.

Wednesday karaoke was definitely a vibe! My sister was visiting from NY and we decided to try out this spot in AdMo and loved it! We got beef and vegan smash burger sliders and they were delicious! Bartender, staff and karaoke host were all so nice and welcoming! People were singing all kinds of songs at karaoke and having the best time. We stayed out way best our bedtime and would do it again! 10/10 recommend.
