We ordered the meat sampler for 2 with a collars greens dish. Extra InjeraLoved the atmosphere. The rugs and lighting feel like you're eating in someone's home. It's so so cozyThe food was really good and well seasoned however I've had better Ethiopian food with stronger spice (it just comes with more oil). I think they might've wanted to make the food healthier.

An absolutely delightful and delicious experience. Every item in the meat sampler we selected was absolutely incredible. The samosas were crispy and beyond flavorful. The iced tea was perfection. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. The wine selection was very reasonable. I can't recommend this restaurant enough.

I have been most restaurant in DMV area but never like Ltena Ethiopian Resturant /ለጤና/ it is the best place to eat, to invite family and friends. Culturally decorated very inviting places. 100% worth it for the money you spent. For catering too.
We wanted a restaurant where we could have great conversation over great food, and we certainly found it! Maybe the best Ethiopian food in DC, and the staff were thoughtful and gracious.

This was the first experience with Ethiopian food for my Fiancé and I and we both really enjoyed it with Latena. We ordered a Veggie and Meat sampler with Samosas and it was a great portion of food, and we were hungry too! The spice blends were fantastic and we cannot wait to go back. Highly recommend.

A pleasant culinary experience. The service is excellent and makes the customer feel comfortable and confident about choosing the dishes. They clearly explain what to expect from each dish, vegan or not, and even how to eat it. Differentiated flavor of the food, including the Ethiopian tea, which is very spicy. I was surprised by the mixture of avocado and broccoli, excellent!
We've been to this place 3 times in the last couple of months. Great atmosphere and the food is amazing. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Of love or like Ethiopian it is absolutely a great choice!

From the incredible food, to the exceptional service, and lovely ambiance, Letena is a spot we will definitely be back to. The service provided to us was above and beyond - attentive, helpful, and kind. We brought our friend visiting from Canada who had recently moved out of Toronto and hadn't been able to find good Ethiopian in her new town. She was raving about it! Our first time here but will absolutely be back.
