The staff is very polite and helpful, seating guests quickly and taking care of their needs efficiently. The food receives many praises, especially the bruschetta and chicken parmesan. Servers are quick and attentive, making sure diners have a positive experience.
Recent reviews highlight the great vegetarian options and an excellent wine list. Customers appreciated the attentive service from Denny and the entire staff, as well as the tasty oil and vinegar served with bread, with balsamic vinegar noted as the best ever tasted. It’s a pleasant place to relax after a day at the National Zoo, located in the Woodley Park area. The restaurant was very accommodating for a large party, even with last-minute changes, and the Italian food was enjoyed by everyone. Although the keg was not working, affecting some beer drinkers, overall, the meal and service were excellent. One customer’s phone was lost and returned the next day, with the owner going out of his way to ensure it was returned, even walking a mile to deliver it back to the hotel.
