A little pricey but the food is worth it in my opinion and thats all that matters. Staff was super friendly. Got steak and cheese lunch combo and it was $25.

Food was decent but nothing special. Not friendly approach, but I got it, full NY experience, including dirty tables. Got a sandwich, cup of soup and fountain drink, for 32,97$. From here it’s up to you to decide if it worth the experience.

Traveling through DC for business and stopped in today for a Loeb special sandwich and Onion Rings. Onion rings were good but the Loeb special was absolutely the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. I’m in town for three days and doubt I’ll eat anywhere else.

We were visiting D.C. to signs some papers at an embassy, and we decided to check out Loeb’s deli before heading back. It has stellar reviews, and, after eating there, I can understand why.
I was a bit overwhelmed with the multitude of mouth-watering options at first, which made me feel a bit like a country boy visiting the big city for the first time, but all of the staff were very laidback, helpful, and considerate. The woman running the cashier was especially lovely, and she had a calm presence coupled with a great sense of humor.
I decided to go with the daily special, and it was excellent. After scarfing down a superb sausage and peppers sandwich, I felt satisfied with my business trip and left with a smile. I will definitely be back the next time I’m out that way.

Loeb's NY Deli is a classic spot for hearty, flavorful deli sandwiches. The meats are fresh, the portions are generous, and the flavors hit just right. It’s casual and no-frills, making it perfect for a quick, satisfying meal anytime.

After having been here three or four times I figured it’s time for a review. The food here is excellent. I’ve had hot pastrami on rye, The Loeb (essentially a Reuben), and most recently their lunch special of hot sausage with peppers, onions, and a side of spicy mustard. As a Philly native I can’t wait to go back and try their cheesesteak.
As for side, I’ve only ever had the homemade old bay chips but they’re so good it’s hard to pass them up. Grab those if you can!
Try their slices of pie too! The two I’ve had are very good. I can vouch for the coconut cream and cherry pie. I had to go with the homemade apple strudel today but I somehow saved that for later. I’m sure that too will be amazing.
I can’t complain about the service either. I’ve been here mostly on Fridays during the lunch rush and it can get busy with orders, on phone and in-person, but it’s managed well and I haven’t had any issues. The owner runs this place well and it shows. If you are in the area don’t hesitate to go here!

It's the kind of magical place where the sandwiches are piled so high with yummy pastrami and corned beef, you have to give yourself a little pep talk before you take the first bite.

I work opposite and have been eating here for years. Its the place to go when you want to feel full and crave those classic deli or breakfast dishes. Everything is fresh, consistent, and satisfying. The Loeb family proudly keep their name on the door, which is so rare these days.
