The ambiance is incredible. Beautiful decor. Definitely will stop again when in town. Unforgettably delicious lamb and okra.
Vegetarian options: Must try okra.
Dietary restrictions: Multiple options for everyone with any type of dietary restrictions.

The chicken Tikka Masala is the best I've ever had. The place looks nice, is clean, and I will definitely return.

Pros: Friendly staff, quick service, nice decorCons: small food portions, overpriced mealsOverall its decent quality however the menu is overpriced for the amount of food
I went here because of the 4.8 stars...now at 4.2. The 3 of us ate there last evening and the food was ok. I would give it a 5 out of 10. Overpriced and NOT much food. I ordered the fish dish - $22 and there was maybe 6 bite sized pieces of cod. My friends ordered chicken- $18 and they too were disappointed with the small amount of chicken. Also ordered Naan and my friend wanted the green sauce to dip...charging $2 for a small bowl!! We ordered 3 entrees so they did NOT have to charge for the green stuff. I will NOT be back. Overpriced and hardly any food. The warm water refills didn't help either and had to ask for ice.
As always, amazing drinks and amazing food! Definitely festive for today! Go there and enjoy some liquid gold in your green drinks!
One of the drinks was very small for a $16 item. Drinks were delivered after food. Not bad but not up to the competition!

Takeout Experience only:Ordered the samosas with spicy tandoori wings and chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. The samosas and the garlic naan were good but the wings and chicken thighs in the chicken tikka masala were not cooked all the way through. From the photos I've seen of people who dined in, the spicy tandoori wings are cooked well and have a nice char on the outside. While the wings I ordered were packed with flavor they could have been cooked for another 10 minutes. Same with the chicken thighs in the chicken tikka masala.I would like to give London Curry House another chance but I'll dine in this time.
Had a bad experience with the food as well as the staff. The manager wasn't very courteous with us probably because we were college students. The appetizer was nice but all of the mains were really bad. The chana masala was especially awful. Would not recommend this place at all.
Vegetarian options: Not enough Vegetarian options and the Paneer was very dry.

Got the three curry sampler and samosas to go, everything was really good! I live close by but hadn’t tried it until recently because I thought it was an out-of-town chain based on the name. But then, I saw on their website that it’s run by the same people behind Butter Chicken Company and Bombay Street Food (both of which I love). The lamb rogan Josh and goat curry were especially tender and delicious! Will definitely be going back.
Food was good and really liked the ambience. Wanted to dine in but due unavailability of the parking space on street preffered take away.

We order takeout from the London Curry House, DC about twice a month. We love the Rezala and Tikka Masala. We have found them to be reliably delicious.
Goat curry was all bone .. Like all bone, no meat, covered in sauce so I kept chewing on bone. Shocked I didn't crack a tooth. Chicken was only dark meat... Wish they had white meat chicken. Wouldn't come back. They don't make their naan either.... They reheat prepackaged bread.... Just not authentic.
Great curries and divine garlic naan. I got the goat vindaloo, and the goat meat might have been a mistake. I struggled to get the meat off the bone chunks with my knife and fork. That's on me though, as I know other restaurants that prepare goat that same way. My husband got some meat croquettes hard-boiled eggs inside and a green sauce that was very tasty too. Got the rice pudding for dessert, as well as another dish with browned rice balls in a hot sweet sauce, it looked like a little bowl of matzo ball soup, but for dessert.

Pretty average place with average food. Of course this isn’t the typical Indian food taste and also not something of ‘London’ style!Ordered a Jaipuri chicken - and they just added red colour to the colour. It was so red that I almost lost my appetite
Excellent and practical option for a nice dinner before/after show at Lincoln center. Loved the food, the excellent service, the Anthony Bordain homage. Lamb curry was fine, but preferred the classic tikka-massala.
