No frills, but great chips and salsa and food overall. A great lunch option walking distance from the Capital.

A cozy Mexican restaurant around the corner, nice ambiance and big servings but the food tastes average. I loved their fresh chips and spicy salsa 8/10. Burritos 7/10 and quesadillas 7/10.

A great 'hole in the wall' that serves food that I wouldn't expect to find north of Dallas - genuine 'Tex-Mex' or New Mexico flavors that deliver what youre looking for if you're from the South. Generous portion sizes and quick service, along with a 'homey' atmosphere make it feel welcome, plus 2-3 TVs with sports on as well.

Visited from out of town so we were excited to find this hole in the wall! Restaurant is small, with dim lighting and not so inviting but we decided to still give it a go as we love hole in the walls for the food not the atmosphere. Although, tables are too cramped with no conversation privacy. High prices did not match the food quality, atmosphere and taste. We’ve had better Tex Mex and were a bit disappointed being we had such high hopes. I agree with prior review, we didn’t catch the Mexican restaurant across the street until we left.

Food wasn’t good. Bones in chicken salad, hard not well cooked rice, etc and $110 for it. Not ok!

Los Caballleros, highly recommended — the fajitas are outstanding, and the margaritas are special. The owner, Cris, is such a great guy!!! See you soon.

Excellent food! Today we got the steak street tacos and chicken quesadillas. Both had grilled meat that was tender & tasty, as well as generous portions.

The prices are reasonable, especially for DC.

Great service and rustic ambience. Enjoyed the steak and chicken but beans and rice were a bit too salty. Mango mojito was delicious 😋

Great mexican restaurant! Loved everything in the veggie burrito! We came at 4pm on a Sunday and it was very empty. The waiter was very kind and friendly. The cherry ontop is their quac doesnt cost anything extra to put inside a burrito! Would gladly visit again.

Food is pretty good but is not authentic Mexican at all. Pricey for the portions of food given BUT service was amazing! Extremely kind atmosphere.
