A no frills, authentic Dominican restaurant off the beaten path in Columbia Heights reminds me of the local bodega growing up. With so many options it can feel overwhelming but no matter what ends up on your plate, you can’t go wrong. Flavor, generous portion sizes( enough to take leftovers home and have a second meal) and a good price, make this a must stop if you’re in the area.

I was having an event in the DC area- I had a friend recommend Los Hermanos. First, super professional and accountable; Second: customer service on point- responsive, accommodating and provided guidance on food items and displaying of food. I placed the call two days before my event, for 200 ppl- not one thing was left! The food was delicious! Thank you Raymond and Los Hermanos for the great food and service! Highly recommend for a private or professional event!

The owners are nice people, but the food is to greasy, to salty and to pricey for the quality of the food.

I was pleasantly surprised by this location. My friend had recommended this place and I was a little skeptical about going. However, customer service was amazing. Every staff member was friendly and attentive. The food was so good, I couldn’t put my fork down! I highly recommend.

Probably the best food we’ve had in DC. We had two different types of rice, stew chicken, mangu, red beans, maduros, and two different types of homemade juices, and everything was 10/10 delicious. We ordered takeout but we ended up eating the entire meal before we could leave. Great service too! They don’t skimp on portions either.

Wonderful food, inexpensive, friendly, fast service and a wonderful cozy kitchen-like ambiance in the dining area!

I especially loved the chicken there...wonderfully juicy, flavorful and moist.

Equally wonderful is that most of the staff is bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English, which enables the restaurant to serve a wide range of customers.

Also the fact that it's located in the heart of Columbia Heights in DC is an added benefit!

Keep up the great work!

What a gem of a spot. Heard about this place from a cheap eats page and it absolutely delivered. There isn't a menu here - you pick two sides and a main course and it's one flat (very affordable) price and you're getting a butt ton of food.

I tried my Spanish but the employees responded back to me in English unfortunately - I guess I gotta work on my gringo accent. However, the awesome guy who sat at my table didn't know English so I got to practice my very mid Spanish with him as I proceeded to be a big back and destroy the entire plate.
