Perfect for a relaxed beer. Dog friendly. We were lucky to have an amazing BBQ food truck outside.

Loved the vibe of this place & the sour beer I had was so good! Also can’t help but love all the dogs. Relaxed, comfy hangout!

I recently visited this brewery, and unfortunately, my experience was less than stellar. From the start, things were off when the server asked for my ID before I even tried to order, which seemed unnecessary. But the real issue arose when I asked to try one of the beers. Rather than offering a sample, she giggled, said "no," and proceeded to give a brief description of the beer instead. This interaction made not only me but also the customers around me feel uncomfortable, to the point where they stepped in to describe the beer in more detail.

The attitude from the server was dismissive and bordered on rude, which completely ruined the experience. It's disappointing that such poor customer service overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable visit to the brewery.

the people that work here are the absolute worst, lot of other spots in the area.

Killer beer, and great atmosphere. Came on a Saturday, there was BBQ, and great crowd. Probably the best beer I’ve had in the DMV. I had two IPAs as well as the hop water. The staff were super surly though, borderline unfriendly. Not sure who pissed in their Wheaties this morning, but it was evident someone did.

This place has good beer and deservedly won best brewery again. But I have to say the two gripes I have are 1) have some limits on “dog friendly”. I recently saw a customer let their dog stand half in a bar stool and half on the bar counter, food & water dishes on the bar, lapping up gross smelly dog food on the same surface where other customers were trying to eat and drink. And taking up crowded bar space from people who were trying to order. Odd entitled customer sure, but also in what professional setting is it fine to let a dog stand and eat on the bar? Unsanitary and completely permitted by staff. And 2) the staff. Specifically the pink haired young lady. She seemed busy, which is fine but she was also unnecessarily rude and sarcastic (and kind of hostile) to newcomers. It’s better to visit when they’re not busy I guess. Just wish she had the same no BS attitude toward overly comfortable dog owners as new customers.

The service here is terrible. The bar tenders play favorites and treat customers differently. When we asked for a tasting, they refused saying we have to buy before we could taste. But were happily bringing other customers tasting without even asking when they mentioned they don’t know how it would taste. Quite horrible experience and the bartenders are terrible except the ethic girl who works there. Don’t bother about the beer, it was ok and there are plenty around with great beers. I give two stars for the ambience.

Super welcoming spot with some of the DMV's best beers.

Great beers! Supporting local ultimate frisbee league with a fun raffle! Streamed the Olympics gold medal events on a projector all day and had an awesome crowd. 10/10 would go back

Restaurant experience and interior design was on point but having events in the restaurant is horrible.

Has person who is very sensitive to hear everything around him there are no soundproof walls to support the quietness of the restaurant.

You can hear everyone's talking but you can't hear your own group. That need to be look in restaurant who promote events inside there reaturent.

Here are some tips:

First, choose the right materials. Acoustic panels, heavy curtains, and soundproofing foam are effective options.

Second, consider strategic placement. Focus on walls near the event area, but also think about ceilings and floors.

Third, balance aesthetics with functionality. Soundproofing materials can be stylish and match your restaurant's decor.

Finally, consult a professional. They can assess your space and recommend the best solutions for your specific needs.

Please make sure to that when someone raises their hand for a drink and you look them directly in their face and do not acknowledge them, that’s rude and unprofessional. Who hired this chick? My daughter and I were here in town from Chicago and brewery hopping and was not welcomed well here…..ridiculous….
