The first time I visited this bar, I knew I had to return. The music was great; kudos to the DJ, he was playing reggaeton, Caribbean, and other popular music. I felt like the DJ read the room well.
I went back a second time the following week, but the vibes weren’t the same. The second DJ didn’t read the room as well and I ended up leaving after 30 minutes.

Young lady at desk to get to rooftop needs to be taught professional decorum and taught how to recognize VIP customers vs average customers. Especially those VIPs on a reservation. Spending authority is everything and those who are always looking to capitalize on those experiences. Who needs a bag dropped in today’s economy. Good luck on endeavors and hope this business learns fast how to stay in business.

We booked this reservation, but upon arrival the whole restaurant was closed. The bar staff on the first floor told us “The restaurant closed early today, the owners just kind of close it whenever they feel like it.”

Place was beautiful . Its upstairs in the Moxy hotel. The food was yummy! The tacos were to die for. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. I would definitely come back! Oh, music was great.. afrobeats, dance hall, a mix of old school hip hop.

Went for R&B night! Got there around 6ish left a little after 10pm! We probably missed a few good songs for sure lol but we had other places to check out! Overall Lucha was a vibe!! Food was tasty. Drinks had a nice kick to it and the scenery was nice. Service was great!
Ambiance is nice. Patio has a great view of the Washington Monument. Food was fine. 20% gratuity is automatically added to your bill — and the service reflects that. Our waitress was inattentive, acted as if taking our order, clearing the table and checking up on us was an inconvenience. We were left alone for so long between our first round of drinks and apps that a member of our party had to hunt the waitress down.

I have been to many restaurants in my lifetime. Lucha Rosa rates among the top five worst. The web description was a fraud offering open spaces in a rooftop setting. The room was cramped and unkempt. After several email reminders asking for confirmation, we arrived exactly on time and given a side area unfit for dining. When we asked for an actual table, we were told those were reserved for parties larger than our four. After bitterly complaining, a table was literally thrown together. After that it was downhill with slow uncourteous service. and food that was barely eatable in an environment that was not suitable for dining. What was supposed to be a Valentine Day celebration turned out to be a Bonafide disaster.

My partner and I went on a date here. Drinks were delicious, especially their signature spicy margarita with black salt on the rim. We got 2 rounds of that. For food, we had 2 rounds of CARNE ASADA QUESO FRESCO PINCHOS and they were delicious.

I saw this place on TikTok and I decided to make it my first stop when I traveled to D.C for the first time to celebrate a Birthday. I made reservations and getting seated was seamless (Thank you). We sat down noticed how beautiful the ambience was. Upon looking at the menu out of nowhere a man comes to our table and says the kitchen is closed! After driving 6 hours I had to inquire so I told that same person that we made reservations to celebrate my boyfriend's 45th Birthday and we weren't expecting not to eat. He stated that last night was kind of a weird night but he spoke to his manager and we were able to order food and drinks. Hence why I gave this establishment a fair rating versus a poor rating. Nonetheless I'm sure this is a fine restaurant and I wish you all the best.

Overall good experience. Food, drinks and service were very good. It's a very nice restaurant. My only complaint is that the music is way too loud. We could not hear anyone at our table. If they hadn't been able to relocate us to the outside area, we would have left.
