On the Wharf strip bouncing from spot to spot, and we “luckily” we stumbled into Lucky Buns. Cool seashore themed decor, friendly staff, and upbeat music. Plus, the drinks strong and tasty. Definitely worth paying a visit even if it’s just to grab a drink, or two, or three ?

My daughter and I ordered burgers with a basket of fries. Both burgers unexpectedly came loaded with peppercorn. I love it and it was no problem. My daughter hates pepper, and couldn’t eat it. Neither the server or the manager could explain. They offered to take it off the check but we declined. The meal was ruined and we were not going to wait for another one at 9:30 pm. ….and they cleared my beer glass before I was finished.

After a bourbon tasting across the street at Jack Rose Dining Saloon, my friend and I walked into the original Lucky Buns inside what looks like a corner bar on a Thursday evening around 9 p.m. We got a table right away and within minutes, we were enjoying hot thick fries and burgers. The "Bogan Bun" was excellent if you like bacon. (It comes with bacon jam and bacon.) "Lucky sauce" is on most of their burgers and it makes it pop. Service was excellent, treating you like regulars.

I was served meat in my burrito after stating that I wanted it plain (I am a vegetarian and haven’t eaten bacon in almost a decade). Servers should check they are serving people the correct food.The servers are really nice, and everyone else enjoyed their food — but please: check with your patrons!! Make sure you know their dietary preferences.

The Lucky Bun was good. The fries were steaming hot. The atmosphere was comfortable. Oddly, it smelled like a Chinese restaurant.

Giving this place a 2 star review because the first time I came food was great service was great everything was good would of been 5 stars all around. HOWEVER, I went there last night after a show at DAR . We got there before 11, the place was busy which is fine. But we had 4 people in our party, they took the people behind us first as they only had 2 people wasnt an issue until, the manger said no more food service to us, I said we were here before them but your serving them that's rude and unfair. He said oh well he can't help it. His staff tried to still seat us and get him to serve us he said no to both people trying to seat us. How dare you take people after us and serve them and then not serve us, I feel like that manger Discriminated against my party for some unknown reason. We had 4 people and were willing to spend a good portion of money as this was going to be where we drank the rest of the night. 4 peoples money vs 2. That's a lost of bussiness for the night due to a rude and incompetent manger with zero customer service skills. Also a key note I'm not a tourist I live in the area and would come back as the food is amazing, but the manger decided to be a POS. This review will be posted on Google reviews as well. Learn customer service skills and how to treat paying customers. Bad job on the ownership for allowing a manager to act like this.
