I recently started working in the area. This has become my go to place for lunch. The customer service, food and preparation time is unmatched. I LOVE the green sauce over my chicken. My go to sides are the mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. Try this place I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Stopped in between some bar hopping, the staff were very polite and my food only took a few minutes. The quarter chicken was delicious, and Yuca fries were fresh and perfectly crisp. Green sauce was phenomenal to dip with! will be stoping back regularly.

I love this place, the chicken is just the best, but I also liked the yuca and the plantains.

This is NOT Peruvian chicken. The sauce served with it is basically mustard. WHY on earth would you serve this piece of chicken? That was 90% of the piece I got. No seasoning on the rice so you’re just eating mustard rice. Fries are good. That piece of chicken with rice and fries $16. I would have gotten more chicken (with actual meat) in a 6 pc at McDonalds with mustard dipping sauce.

Service was great
however the food is complete TRASH. Green sauce is bland, rice has no flavor at all , the chicken has an odd taste to it. We were super excited to try this spot out and completely became disappointed.

I love Peruvian chicken, and I’m gay so I thought this would be my spot. Maybe for being gay but definitely not for the chicken. I got the whole chicken, and it was bone dry including the dark meat. The yucca was good. The vegetables were pretty soggy and the plantain was just okay.

I ordered takeout for an event. The service was excellent and the food providers responsive! My guests enjoyed the food.

Four stars because it was initially difficult to reach the business. The current number on the website and on the Toast receipt does not work. I found their email by chance, and from then on they were incredibly responsive.

This place gets a 5* from me. I'm a chicken + whisky fan and the vibes of lucky pollo was not as vibrant in my opinion, I didn't feel like eating there but I would want to sit down and eat at C+W. However when I tried the food, takeaway at home, it was good! The garden veggie side was buttery soft and not too salty, whereas C+W tends to oversalt their vegetables. Yuca fries and chicken taste wise both were on par. They can do better in terms of the sides variety but for the price and value you get, I think they're an excellent shop in the neighbourhood. Welcome lucky pollo!

Gave everyone half as much chicken as we ordered, when we came back we were told to wait an hour because “more chicken would be ready then”. Chicken also wasn’t that good.
Just go down the block to Chicken and Whiskey instead.

Let’s go rapid fire: the music was too loud, it took a long time for the food to come out, my wrap was not properly cut or wrapped, and the food was okay. Honestly, get the yuca fries and call it a day

Chicken was amazing but sides were a disappointment. Every single one is a heavy starch, without spice. Literally not a single healthy or light vegetable. Potatoes, rice, plantains, more potatoes, and Mac-cheese. They messed up the full order, forgot to give us the right sides, forgot to give us drinks, and just couldn’t be bothered to care about anything. So much potential given the good chicken, but the rest needs an upgrade.

Great taste and price. The yuca fries and plantains were delicious. I'd add yellow sauce to the menu.

Was excited to try this place as it is across the street from apartment and I love peruvian chicken.

That being said the food was quite disappointing. The chicken was under-seasoned, insanely dry and lukewarm. I got two pieces of dark, which are generally not dry, but somehow they managed to do it. The yucca was fine and so was the rice, but the chicken was truly unforgivable, especially considering it was their grand opening and the place was empty.

Crazy disappointing.
