Adorable spot with delicious food! We had Sunday happy hour eats: chicken taquitos, fish tacos and kale salad - all were excellent and very came in hearty portions. The wine selection is excellent (of course) and they have a great beer list, too. We will be back!

One of my favorite spots in DC. Food is always delicious, wine selection is great, and good happy hour specials. I love the outside seating options and indoors is cute, but it can get pretty loud inside when busy where it gets hard to hear or have a conversation. During the summer, the mosquitoes are awful (at least for me) even though they offer bug spray.

This is a delightful place that's much bigger than it seems when looking at it from the street. I attended a private event in the room at the back. It was a nice place to mix and mingle. The food was amazing!

Food was good but overpriced. For a QR driven menu the mandatory 4% charge should just be included in the prices. Understandably the fee is added as two tacos are $14. Not worth the cost compared to many other places. The cancellation fee policy is crazy…$20/person if under 24hrs. This is just an overpriced same ole same old

Positives: outside seating area is cute, dishes come out quickly, food is very light not a heavy brunch. Fries were tasty. Cake was ok… a child could’ve prepared it nothing too crazy.

Cons: there are no servers walking around, everything is through an app so it’s not possible to ask for suggestions or questions, the food options are kinda weak and pricey. Drinks are not strong and very pricey.

Overall: i wouldn’t go back. Nothing on the menu made me excited to try and when I got the food I still felt the same its just ehh.

A+++ such a cutie local winegarden. The outdoor seating was really nice but it was too hot for us. Inside seating was nice as well. We had a private table, but majority of indoor seating is communal bench tables.
The burgers & fries were really good. The cocktails we had (casa marg, lulus old fashioned, first bloom) were all super tasty as well.
100% will be back!

This is for a Lulu’s wine event. We paid $72 per person per ticket, including all the fees. The event was marketed as unlimited tasting and bottomless breakfast tacos. I would not say it was either. It was very difficult to get a taste of either! In part, I think the space (which as aesthetic) was too small for the number of tickets sold, so it was difficult to reach the different wine booths. I maybe had a total of half a glass of wine from the tasting. We ended up just buying a bottle from the event for $18 so that we could at least drink something but then they charged us a $15 corking fee. It was a white, and they didn’t even have cold ones stocked. There were barely any tacos put out on the serving table and they came out very slowly - maybe 8 at a time. Attendees were swarming the server the second he appeared with the plate. I was in a group of six and with very vigilantly watching the tacos come out, we averaged to snag 1.5 tacos per person. Lulu’s sells 2 tacos for $17. The tacos were good, when you could get your hands on them. You’re definitely better off not going to an event and instead just doing a regular brunch. It would’ve been cheaper and less frustrating. Definitely disappointed in the event and wouldn’t try another one here.

Overcharged me after rude service and stingy size drinks. I just noticed and their phone line doesn’t even connect me to a human in order to get a refund and mailbox is full.

Average experience. Honestly thought the food was overpriced and they were really stingy with ingredients - very small glasses for the cocktails, very thin layer of avocado on the thick toast, barely any butter or powdered sugar on other dishes. I also felt weird needing to use the app to ask a question to the servers, though they did immediately come to the table. The place was cute - it felt like Scottsdale AZ with the cacti and other aesthetics. But I probably won’t return, eh..

Five stars all around. This was our first time at LuLu’s and we’ll definitely be back. 100% a place you want to bring a date or friends and family from out of town. Food was good, decent portions for the price, and the vibe was great - lighting that wasn’t obnoxiously dark or bright, music that was meant to be in the background so you could hear it but also talk at a normal volume, and cool seating near heaters if you just wanted to chill with a drink instead of having a whole meal. The Manager was the best I’ve interacted with, when I brought up missing avocado on my sandwich she was awesome about it; and when it turned out I was wrong - I didn’t actually check the box for avocado - the she was so gracious, didn’t give me grief, and still hooked us up with some cake (don’t let the picture fool you into thinking it’s boxed cake, it’s not, it’s the most amazing leche cake). Seriously, not a flaw to be found.
PS The whipped feta is going to be the best you’ve ever had and the avocado ceasar is delish.
