Two mediocre tiny empenadaz for $20!!
Avoid this place until they get their act together and not charge exuberantly for an empenada that’s barely worth $5!
The chicken empenada has a puree texture!

I spent $20 on a couple of empanadas that I assumed would be sizable to make up for the hefty price tag. They are so small and with barely any sauce. Just so disappointing (see photos).

Drinks are good, fries are delicious, Cajun and beef empanadas just weren't my cup of tea
Great place to play some games and drink something

Tried fours different empanadas. Only the beef one was fine, the rest were bad.

The choripan was SO GOOD❤️ when I first saw the size, I was a little worried because it seemed pretty small. But, it was actually pretty filling, even after eating one half. I will say it's a bit pricey, as the choripan was $18. but, honestly, i think it was worth it.

Overpriced, as it is at any Argentine restaurant. As an Argentine, I’m embarrassed. No empanada should cost that much. It’s just a fancy hot pocket! Shameful with a pinch of bad culture.
Nice folks, good food, but I spent $100 on small portions for 2 and 2 drinks

Lunas De Buenos Aires Restaurant – Food Review
I went to Lunas De Buenos Aires Restaurant for a game night meetup, but we ended up not playing any games.
Ambiance:
• The restaurant was too loud for my taste, especially the music.
Food:
• I personally didn’t enjoy the food, but one of my friends said the veggie empanadas were good.
Drinks:
• The mango margarita was the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend.
Seating:
• The seating was not plus-size friendly, which made it uncomfortable for me.
Overall:
• Would I go back? Maybe just for the margaritas, but not for the food or seating experience.

The atmosphere here is great, as they have good music and lots of board games. Fun place to go with friends and family. However, empanadas could've been better. I expected more, considering they have signs commenting about the best empenadas award, but I've had WAY better emapanadas before for less. They were decent but wouldn't classify them as award winning. Their chimichurri was very good though. They're ok to snack on, but the environment was great.

Paid almost $70 for 3 sandwiches that were essentially two pieces of bread and sausages in the middle. Didn’t even have the decency to add cheese. Save your money, there are plenty better places in Union Market.
