My friend got here about 20 minutes before me. She had been ignored for some time before she got her wine. When I got there I was ignored then had to say excuse for service. There weren’t too many tables so I’m not sure why we were ignored. It seemed to be a trend as others at that came in were experiencing the same. However when a group of girls walked in they were treated with smiles , shots and immediate service. they also were hanging their bras up on the string hanging from the ceiling. He seemed to be very interested in the group of women other than paying customers that came for good pizza

Best vegan pizza in dc

Overall this is a solid Italian place. Both entrees were about 22 dollars each which isn't an insane price for dinner in DC. Had the diavola which i wish was a bit spicer since it was advertised as a spicy pizza. But the cheese on it was great! The gnocchi was delicious and the crispy bread dipped in the sauce was amazing. I want to return for their happy hour for sure.

The pizza was really good. I came in a little late on a Sunday so their service was a little lack luster by the end of the day.

Lupo Pizzeria has become one of our go to take out spots. We love their pepperoni and mushroom pizzas, and usually get the gnocchi al ragu. We have ordered from there numerous times, but still haven't dined in yet. Everytime I go by, the ambience seems great - cozy and people seem to be enjoying themselves. Next time you're getting pizza, order a pie or three from them.

We have been to this place many times. We had friends in town and they wanted pizza, so this was on our top places to go. Luckily we got a table on a Thursday night right away. They got pizza and I wanted the chicken parm and I'm so happy I got it! The food was yummy, the sangria was good and the service was 4/5. We will definitely be back. We sat right near the kitchen and were able to see them make the pizza, which I like.

My husband and I went on a date. We both enjoyed the pizza; it was delicious, and also the dessert. I think everything was great, and a very cozy place.

Was craving good pizza before we went out to the bars and the place hit the spot. Can be a little slow for ordering at 11 PM but the pizza was so good that it made up for 20ish minute wait for food! Seems like a place I would go back to!

$10 Happy hour Neapolitan pizza is great. Can't get pizza of this quality at this price anywhere else.

Great pizza. Delicious. Well done. The ingredients exceptional; the dough is amazing and makes a crust worthy of the accolades it recieves. But…the service was terrible.Too cool and important, apparently, to be kind, thoughtful, respectful, and professional. Sure it’s busy on a Friday night, but that’s the business you are in.Lots of great pizza places in DC.Service - and attitude - matter.Personally, I’ll take my hard-earned cash elsewhere next time.

This place in heavenly. I got the fungi pizza and the vegan Norma pizza (not on the menu) and both were probably some of the best Italian style pizza I’ve ever had.

Very good pizza, decent dessert, nice service, so-so ambiance. We had a shrimp pesto and fungi al tartufo between us. The balsamic glaze on the pizza was an excellent sweet touch to counter the salty cheese and rich mushrooms - really appreciated the pizza. The shrimp pesto pasta was good and surprisingly filling. We went for zeppole ripiene and tiramisu for dessert. Could've used more nutella spread on the zeppole (was craving them to be filled with it, but just dough over a nutella layer). The tiramisu was legit - nice expresso taste and decent amount of mascarpone. Wished the restaurant would've been a little warmer (it was below freezing and snowing when we went), and not a fan of the music they had blasting Friday. Otherwise, a shout-out to the good server & yum food.

Restaurant was quaint, very busy on a Friday night but for good reason. Pizza was incredible and service was great!
