our friend booked a table for us and we ended up at this place. It's so beautiful here that it's breathtaking! And all the dishes were presented at the highest level! We'll definitely come here again!

A top 5 burger in my life, great oysters, and intelligent service make for a memorable dining experience, especially with views of the kitchen. Its just a little cramped but thats to be expected in Gtown.

Very interesting and delicious menu. Definitely limited. Cramped and noisy. decent service. Pricey. parking a major challenge.

My friend ordered a hat back in January and has yet to receive the hat she paid for or a refund. We have gone multiple times to ask about the hat with proof of purchase and each time were told they would look into it and now it’s been a year with no hat or money back. Would love a refund or the hat that she paid for.

I try all the fancy restaurants in this city and Lutece is hands down the best. From the cozy / romantic ambience, incredible service, to the creativity / scrumptiousness of the food...I am in love.

This was supposed to be to be our anniversary dinner and it ended up being a $200+ experience we wish to never have again.
Food was amazing but the service was poor.
The place was loud and cramped and I had a servers butt in my face for half of the meal as they talked to the table next to mine.
After calling and seeing if they could accommodate allergies for the chef’s tasting menu we got there and they said they couldn’t accommodate.
They gave us a menu with nearly everything blacked out with sharpie representing what we couldn’t order due to allergies.
Again the food was great but I would take this restaurant off the Michelin guide due to the poor service and cramped tiny tables.
Dietary restrictions: This restaurant is awful at accommodating dietary restrictions.

This is our second time at Lutèce and celebrating an anniversary. Amazing food like last time and we got to try new seasonal items. Meats were cooked perfectly but since it’s French cuisine the portions will be smaller and flavor more delicate. They also offer green and yellow chartreuse as dessert which is unique. A reservation is a must given how high-demand the restaurant is and we highly recommend the food!
Dietary restrictions: Tell the staff beforehand and they will explain which items don’t have the allergen

I've loved this restaurant ever since it opened. One of the best in DC for sure. Lately, or on some of their newer menu options, I've noticed the portions getting ridiculously small, to the point where entrees are much smaller than appetizers at most other restaurants.

Likely the best French restaurant in DC. The space is small but the service warm and thorough.

We had a great dinner here including one of the best and most interesting desserts I've ever had - the honey semifreddo. I'm not a dessert person and would go back for that dish alone. For mains, the duck was perfectly cooked and the pepper was a nice balance to the sweeter sauce. The kohlrabi and grilled cabbage starters were both tasty and refreshing.

I really wanted to love this place but the menu was very hit or miss. For the price I have to downgrade this restaurant. The hits were the melon, carrots, and honey cheese dessert, duck. Fails were chocolate puff, gnocchi, pork.
Each dish tries too hard to do everything. Some were fabulous. Also a noisy crowded restaurant doesn’t help me enjoy a complex dish.

We had a wonderful dinner at the chefs table. Dinner was amazing and the service was phenomenal. Chris waited on us and explained all the wine pairing. He was really helpful and the entire staff from what we walked in made sure to check in.
Can't wait to go again and taste the rest of the menu
